Prior to joining Tailwater E&P, Mr. Williams was a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Grey Rock Investment Partners where he evaluated A&D opportunities and managed the company's existing portfolio. Prior to joining Grey Rock Investment Partners, Mr. Williams served in a variety of operational and reservoir engineering roles where he held crew and asset leadership positions at Devon Energy, Weatherford International, and Warwick Investment Partners. Mr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

Prior to Tailwater E&P, Mr. Welch served as Lease Records Supervisor at Chief Oil & Gas for eight years where he was responsible for overseeing land records and ensuring data integrity. Mr. Welch played a critical role in multiple acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to Chief, Mr. Welch served in various land administration roles at Chesapeake Energy for six years.

Brian Blakeman - CFO, Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Blakeman has over 22 years of financial services experience centered on financial management, internal audit, and compliance. Mr. Blakeman joined Tailwater Capital in 2013 and is responsible for all internal financial accounting and reporting, investor financial reporting, cash management and is the chief compliance officer for Tailwater's SEC registered advisers. Mr. Blakeman oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm as well as manages the support staff.
In addition, Mr. Blakeman maintains close ties with the financial manager at each portfolio company ensuring that monthly financial reporting is implemented in accordance with Tailwater's requirements. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Blakeman was the Chief Financial Officer for Advanced Plan for Health Ltd., LLP, a population health management company. Mr. Blakeman joined Advanced Plan for Health from Apex Global Partners, Inc. where he was the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Blakeman served as the Chief Operating and Compliance Officer at Tobat Capital, LLC prior to joining Apex Global Partners, Inc. During his tenure at Tobat, Mr. Blakeman directed the implementation of new accounting processes and systems at a number of portfolio companies and assumed the role of acting CFO on several occasions. Prior to joining Tobat, Mr. Blakeman was a senior member of the Internal Audit Department at E.W. Blanch Holdings, a reinsurance brokerage company. Mr. Blakeman received a B.B.A. in Accounting from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Cecere has over 16 years of experience advising and financing companies in the energy industry. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Cecere was an Associate with HM Capital where his primary responsibilities included evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments in the energy portfolio. Mr. Cecere joined HM Capital from Merrill Lynch and Co., where he worked as an Analyst providing capital raising and M&A advisory services for midstream companies. Mr. Cecere earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Plan II Honors.

Mr. Prieto joined Tailwater in November 2021 and is responsible for leading Tailwater E&P, which oversees the firm's mineral, royalty, and non-operated funds. In addition, Tailwater E&P plays a key role in the evaluation and ongoing management of the firm's operated upstream investments, along with technical evaluation of its midstream investments. Mr. Prieto serves on the boards of Pivotal Petroleum Partners, Pivotal Petroleum Partners II and Pivotal Royalties Partners.
Mr. Prieto has over 16 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining the Tailwater team, Mr. Prieto served as Vice President of Land and Midstream for Concho Resources, Inc. until its sale to ConocoPhillips. In this position, he led multiple departments within Concho, including the owner relations group and joint interest ventures group, which oversaw Concho's non-operated, mineral and royalty portfolios. Prior to joining Concho, Mr. Prieto was a member of the management team of three private equity sponsored portfolio companies, most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer of Atlantic Resources Company, LLC, where he was responsible for the business development, land and legal functions of the company. Mr. Prieto began his career at Lynch, Chappell & Alsup, P.C. in Midland, Texas, where his practice was concentrated in the areas of business law and oil and gas, with a particular emphasis on general corporate transactions, the preparation of title opinions, the negotiation and documentation of all phases of oil and gas transactions, and the coordination of various activities related to the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties.
Mr. Prieto received his Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration degrees from Texas Tech University in May of 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in December of 2002, with minors in Business and Spanish. Ms. McMillan-Melott is responsible for the company's internal and external communications, including public affairs, media and employee relations, corporate strategic planning, and branding.
Prior to Tailwater, Ms. McMillan-Melott was at Crosstex Energy, EnLink Midstream's predecessor, in December 2005 where she played a key role in the company's communication strategy, which included leading the rebranding and launch of EnLink Midstream from the merger of Crosstex Energy with Devon Energy's midstream assets. She also managed the company's investor relations strategy and played an integral role in strategic planning and ESG.
Ms. McMillan-Melott has over 21 years of experience as a public relations and investor relations professional and nearly 21 years in the energy industry, having worked with Fortune 500 energy companies in previous positions, including Devon Energy and ExxonMobil.
Ms. McMillan-Melott was selected as one of the 2017 Top Women in Oil & Gas Industry in North Texas, named one of the "40 under 40" in 2019 by Oil & Gas Investor magazine, and most recently awarded Hart Energy's 2023 25 Influential Women in Energy. Additionally, Ms. McMillan-Melott serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Inc. Ms. McMillan holds a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism from Texas Tech University.
Mr. Fry is a private equity professional with a demonstrated track record within the energy and industrial sectors, having deployed more than $1.2 billion of equity capital during his career. He joined Tailwater Capital in 2014 and is responsible for guiding the firm's overall investment strategy, managing institutional capital, investment origination, execution, and portfolio company oversight. He serves on the boards of Copperbeck Energy Partners, Goodnight Midstream, Renovo Resources, and Tall Oak Midstream.
Mr. Fry has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Fry was a Principal with Crimson Investment and was a Senior Associate at HM Capital, where he worked extensively on investments in the energy portfolio. Prior to HM Capital, Mr. Fry worked for Harrison Lovegrove & Co. (now Standard Chartered PLC) as an Associate Director focusing on energy merger and acquisition advisory. Mr. Schaufele previously served as Managing Director at Freestone, a portfolio company of Tailwater focused on investing in companies enabling the transition to a lower carbon economy with an emphasis on recycling, environmental services, and disruptive technologies offering an attractive, unsubsidized economic value proposition. Prior to Freestone, Mr. Schaufele spent 15 years originating, executing and monitoring private equity investments, having sat on the boards of 11 platform companies while being involved in transactions representing over $5 billion of invested equity in the energy sector. During this time, he worked extensively with limited partners to raise capital for multiple flagship funds and numerous co-investment vehicles.

Prior to Tailwater, Ms. Soto was a senior accountant at Matador where she was a part of the cash management, financial accounting, non-operated JIB and accounts payable teams. Ms. Soto was also in the automotive and insurance industries. Ms. Soto earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is currently pursuing an MBA in Global Leadership and Finance from University of Texas at Dallas.
Mrs. Thompson joined Tailwater Capital in August 2022 as the Controller.
Mrs. Thompson began her career at Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn PA (GSG) as an Auditor where she was exposed to a range of clients including governmental, nonprofit, and small private equity funds. Following GSG, Mrs. Thompson was a Manager at TPG Global in Fort Worth, TX where she managed the accounting for their flagship private equity fund, TPG Partners VIII, LP as well as its sidecar, TPG Healthcare Partners, LP.
Mrs. Thompson graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Master's of Business Administration. Mrs. Thompson is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
Ms. Finnigan joined Tailwater in November 2022 as Director of Tax. Ms. Finnigan is responsible for transaction structuring, fund and deal-level tax planning, and provides assistance in the oversight of the tax compliance and regulatory reporting function.
Prior to joining Tailwater, Ms. Finnigan was a Partner at Weaver, the largest independent CPA firm in the Southwest. While at Weaver, Ms. Finnigan partnered tax compliance and consulting for a variety of clients including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, funds of funds, and high net worth individuals and families.
Ms. Finnigan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting and Taxation from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Marra earned his MBA from the University of Oklahoma as well as a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
Mr. Zincone joined Tailwater Capital in July 2023 as a Vice President. He is responsible for evaluating, executing, and monitoring the firm's investments.
In August 2017, Mr. Zincone joined the Tailwater team as an Associate prior to earning his MBA. Mr. Zincone has over 6 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Mr. Lee has over 24 years of oil & gas experience, primarily through work at operating companies. Prior to joining Tailwater, he served as Vice President at Rees-Jones Holdings in Dallas where he had leadership responsibility for building a minerals company and a non-operated upstream company in the Permian Basin for the Rees-Jones family. Prior to joining Rees-Jones Holdings, Mr. Lee co-founded and served as CFO for Venado Oil & Gas, a private equity backed private company that amassed significant acreage holdings in South Texas and was an active driller and operator of horizontal wells. Mr. Lee joined Venado after spending over eight years at Pioneer Natural Resources (NYSE: PXD) where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Business Development and Director of Budgeting & Planning. Mr. Lipscomb has over 16 years of experience including midstream operations, private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Lipscomb was a Senior Director with Crestwood Equity Partners, a publicly-traded midstream-focused master limited partnership. During his time at Crestwood, Mr. Lipscomb's responsibilities ranged from business and corporate development to corporate finance. Prior to Crestwood, Mr. Lipscomb worked for Brazos Private Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm with $1.4 billion of assets under management. Prior to that, he worked for JPMorgan as an analyst in their global investment banking practice.
