Arnie Tuchtan

Arnie is the co-founder of tech startup Sonnant and a respected Victorian entrepreneur. Arnie has over 30 years of experience across a number of functions including sales and marketing, finance, operations, and technology. He is passionate about elevating learning experiences for students through disruptive technologies being applied to Learning Innovations. Arnie draws from his real-world experience to help guide participants on their entrepreneurship journey.

Gemma Manning

Gemma is a serial entrepreneur, game changer and visionary business leader. With a background in strategic marketing, communications and international business, she has forged a career in starting and building global companies. She has successfully established two businesses with international reach: Manning & Co, a strategic marketing consultancy, and Gemstar, a business partner for companies wanting to enter Southeast Asia. Recognised at the highest levels including by Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Gemma has forged a successful career in the face of adversity.

Mehra Lester

Job Titles:

Mehra supports the YoungGems® program as a day-to-day point of contact for participants and by managing our Learning Management System. She comes from a strategic marketing background and has a passion for entrepreneurship education.

Nelson Ang

Job Titles:
  • CURRICULUM & TRAINING ADVISOR
Nelson is the YoungGems® Curriculum and Training Advisor, bringing the program significant education experience. He previously worked for Kaplan Singapore, managing educational programs for university students, working professionals and enterprises. As part of the YoungGems® team, Nelson assists with the YoungGems® program's content quality assurance by providing continuous advice to optimise the program content and the participant's experience.

Robbie Gaspar

Job Titles:

Robbie is an entrepreneur, athlete and prominent member of the Australia-Indonesian community. As the first Australian footballer to play professionally in Indonesia, Robbie has been both a player and manager in the sporting industry, and has a deep connection with Indonesia. In 2013, he was elected to the Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) committee, where he remained until 2017. In February 2020, he returned to the AIBC WA as the Vice-Chair. Robbie is now an advisor and mentor for the YoungGems® program.
