Aneta has lived in Yelm since she and her family moved here in 2009. While working from home, Aneta and her husband dedicated their available time to their children and pursued a homeschool option to make the most of their time. In 2013, Aneta's love and dedication to children continued in that she became a licensed in-home provider of Little Smarties Childcare. Her goal has always been to help children learn by addressing their unique learning styles, the different care and love they need, and through positive reinforcement. This dedication is what led to her desire to open Toddler Tech Academy with her husband Chris. While living in Yelm, Aneta has volunteered in many avenues where her skills and love for others can be put to good use. Since 2018, Aneta and Chris have been a part of the Crossroad's church children's ministries in some way or another. Aneta has been a Leader Guide at Crossroads VBS program as well as a full-time Sunday school teacher. This participation led her to be able to help in various other volunteer opportunities both at Crossroads and other churches in the area. She serves in several food banks on a regular basis to provide food for the community. She has also become a Leader for Young Life Ministries which is an organization that encourages leaders and youth to walk together in life and for leaders to provide good examples for those youth who need it. She has also become a member of Love Abounds Here, a nonprofit organization serving our less fortunate members of Yelm in any way possible. Aneta's goal is to always lead with love towards others, to help where needed, and to help encourage the youth in such a way that they are prepared for all of life has to offer!

Chris has been a member of the Yelm community since 2009. Since he has moved to the area, he has become a strong member of the community who is committed to helping those in need and guiding and preparing the youth of Yelm for a bright future. He is on the Board of Directors for Love Abounds Here which is a Yelm based non-profit determined to lift up the less fortunate in our community. He is also a Leader for Young Life Ministries where he specifically participates in activities associated with Yelm High School. His goal is to come alongside the young adults in the community and be an example of a responsible, hardworking friend who can be trusted to provide positive guidance and lasting friendships. Chris and his wife, Aneta, own and operate Little Smarties in Home licensed childcare and preschool. They have been licensed in Washington state since 2013. He and Aneta both teach Sunday school as well as participated in numerous food banks to provide food and hot meals to the community. Chris has his Bachelors Degree with a dual focus in American history and psychology, and has worked with children for nearly 20 years since first starting a job with CYS on Fort Lewis as a youth counselor in 2002. Chris is dedicated to building a firm foundation for the leaders of our future to excel from. As the Director of Toddler Tech Academy, he will ensure that all children who attend will be loved, inspired and well prepared for the next steps in life.
