Ebonei is a native of Augusta, GA. Prior to joining Thomas Kennedy Sampson & Tompkins, she served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Fulton County DA's Office. Ebonei is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and all trial level courts in Georgia.

Kristal Holmes is a litigation associate with Thomas, Kennedy, Sampson, & Tompkins LLP, and practices in legal issues related to premises liability, medical malpractice, insurance defense, personal injury, and contractual relations. In the Atlanta metropolitan area, she works for clients in Cobb, Hall, Barrow, Gwinnett, Clayton, Fulton, DeKalb, and Rockdale counties. Ms. Holmes formerly practiced extensively in the area of family law and criminal defense. An active public speaker, Ms. Holmes has spoken on divorce and finances for a local television and radio show. Admitted to practice in the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, the Georgia Superior Courts, and the Georgia Court of Appeals, she has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia for over 20 years. In 2016, The National Black Lawyers named her in Top 100 Lawyers, and she has been named a top attorney by Avvo. Additionally, in 2019, 2020, and 2021, Ms. Holmes was selected as a Super Lawyer. Ms. Holmes graduated magna cum laude from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. At Emory University, she then earned her Juris Doctor and was able to extend her experience into environmental law and comparative international health law as she studied abroad in Sydney, Australia. Ms. Holmes is a former member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Gate City Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, Gwinnett County Bar Association and a past president of the advisory board for the Gwinnett County Minority Bar Association. Thomas "Woody" Sampson regularly represents Fortune 500 companies, individuals, and governmental entities in various types of complex legal matters. In addition to his trial experience, Woody has served as General Counsel to the Fulton County Board of Ethics since 2002. As Counsel to the Board of Ethics, Woody has advised the Board on numerous complaints that have come before them concerning ethical violations of Fulton County elected officials and employees of Fulton County. He authors the requests for advisory opinions from individuals who sought to determine whether their prospective conduct constituted an ethical violation in Fulton County. In addition, Woody has represented and advised City of Atlanta elected officials on issues concerning election law violations and other ethical issues concerning elections.
