Dr Allie Hare

Dr Allie Hare is a consultant in sleep and respiratory medicine at the Royal Brompton Hospital London, where she treats private and NHS patients; she is also an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London. Dr Allie Hare graduated from Selwyn College, University of Cambridge in 1999, she then completed her postgraduate training at Imperial College London in 2002. She continued with postgraduate training in respiratory and general medicine in London at St Mary's Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital. Dr Allie Hare completed a Master's in Clinical Education in 2013, and due to her work on the assessment of clinical competence was awarded a distinction. She has also completed postgraduate training in medical leadership and management as part of the prestigious Darzi Fellowship scheme. Dr Angus Nisbet

Dr Angus Nisbet is a Consultant Neurologist & Sleep Physician at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. He has been a Consultant Neurologist in Sussex for over 23 years and he has a broad range of neurological interests and experience. As well as sleep disorders, he has particular expertise in Parkinson's Disease, Movement Disorders, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis and immune-mediated neurological conditions. Dr Nisbet trained in Nottingham, Cardiff, Manchester & London (The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, where he undertook brain bank-based neuroscience research). After 10 years as a fulltime NHS consultant in Brighton & Haywards Heath, he then set up as an independent Neurologist. He ran a sleep Neurology Service at East Grinstead Sleep Disorders Centre for 8 years.

Joseph Gannon

Over the years Joseph has treat thousands of patients both privately and in the NHS. Joseph is seen as an expert in his field holding several senior positions at various NHS Sleep Clinics. Beginning his career after graduating with a degree in Human Biology BSc Hons from Oxford Brookes University. His first step was in pharmaceutical research at Hammersmith Medicines Research. Here Joseph was part of team testing new medicines in man for the first time. His role was focused in interpreting the impact medications have upon sleep architecture. After some time Joseph moved to Guys and St Thomas' Sleep Disorders Clinic, the largest sleep unit in Europe. While in post, Joseph was part of the team operating and interpreting overnight sleep studies with a focus on sleep disordered breathing, particularly snoring and Sleep Apnoea. Another career step was to world renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children as a senior member of the Sleep Department team. In addition to teaching and training of junior members of the department, including junior doctors Joseph researched the complications of snoring and Sleep Apnoea in children. In this role Joseph used his knowledge to study for his accreditation with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist. After some years in a paediatric setting Joseph made a move back to an adult sleep service. Joseph then moved onto another senior position at University Hospital of South Manchester Sleep Clinic. Joseph used his many years of experience to help lecture new students at Manchester Metropolitan University undertaking the Modernising Scientific Careers NHS Programme. Clinical work undertaken included the diagnosis and management of all aspects of sleep disordered breathing including snoring and Sleep Apnoea. Joseph is also a Member of the Royal Society of Medicine and British Sleep Society.
