Job Titles:
- Clinical Director & Veterinary Surgeon
Jade qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015 and has been part of the team ever since.
Interests
Canine medicine, ultrasound imaging and surgery, Jade has also introduced the clinic to stem cell therapy.
Jaya qualified from the Royal Veterinary College and joined the practice in September 2022.
Interests
Canine and feline medicine, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.

Qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College in 1985, Mark has been part of the veterinary team at Straid since 1989, and became a Director of the Clinic in 1994.
Interests
Surgical procedures, including advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
Maxine qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in 2012.
Interests
Soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and exotics, including guinea pigs, rabbits and reptiles.

Elaine joined the administration side of Straid in 1990, and is now part of the furniture!
Interests
Elaine is very knowledgeable in many areas. She is keen to offer pet bereavement support to our clients, when the time comes.

Hannah started Straid in October 2020. She finished her foundation degree in animal management in 2019.
Interests
She enjoys assisting the vets during procedures especially dealing with exotics such as rabbits, snakes and lizards!

Jackie worked as part of the team for a couple of years previously, but decided to leave to travel with her partner. We welcomed her back to the team in January 2019.

Jo joined the Straid team in 1996 and has been a credit to the clinic ever since.

Jo is the heart of Straid, with her continual support to each member of the team and her commitment to caring for every single patient. Our very own, Mrs Straid.

Nicole Joined the Straid team in August 2019, she has always wanted to be a veterinary nurse and hopes to qualify in the near future.

She enjoys being in surgery and learning new skills that will help towards her future goal.

Stacey joined Straid in August 2020- originally from the North East she now calls Bucks her home.
Interests
Stacey has travelled the world and back but is at her happiest, watching the sunset over the Greek isles. Has welcomed the arrival of a four-legged friend called Zack from a charity on her favourite island, Kefalonia (where she got married).
