Carrie Davies RVN

Carrie joined our team in September 2020, she previously worked in a mixed practice for 7 years where she gained her Registered Veterinary Nurse Diploma. She lives on a family run farm with her two daughters and partner and loves helping on the farm in her spare time. Carrie has a keen interested in nurse consults and theatre.

Catherine Santos

Catherine graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1997. Since then, she has worked in small animal practice, mainly in South Wales. In 2002, she did some locum work in Australia, where she had to treat a sick kangaroo, which was challenging but very interesting! In her spare time, Catherine enjoys walks in the countryside, reading and riding her horse, Bailey.

Clair Evans

Clair shares her family home with her husband Robert, and is a mother of four wonderful boys and so far, two fantastic grandchildren. After 15 years working as a HLTA, teaching Welsh Second Language at the Local Primary School, Clair decided to take a career change. As she became increasingly interested in working with animals, Clair volunteered at the practice first, before becoming a member of the team. Clair is happy to be a part of the team and feels it is a very rewarding job with some extraordinary experiences. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends and family.

Emma Parfitt RVN

Emma qualified as a registered Veterinary Nurse in 2005 and joined the Victoria Vets team in January 2016. She has a keen interest in exotic animals and has also completed her exotic nursing course in 2007. She has also completed several schedule 3 surgical nursing courses over the years. Her pets include a Bosc monitor, bearded dragon, geckos and frogs. Outside of work you will often find Emma attending numerous rock festivals and touring the welsh countryside in her VW camper van.

Faye Lennon

Faye started work at Victoria Veterinary Practice as a volunteer at a young age when the practice was first opened by Catherine and David. Since then Faye has worked her way up and in 2016 was promoted to Back Ops Coordinator. Faye has had an interest in animals all her life and enjoys working in a veterinary environment. Her hobbies include showing Pekin bantams at the Royal Welsh Show & various other poultry shows in Wales.

Hannah Mallett

Hannah joined the reception team in October 2023 after working at another vets for over a year. She loves working with animals and can't resist the opportunity to give your pets a little fuss. Hannah says she has the best job in the world ever and finds it very rewarding but also challenging on times! She has 2 pets of her own, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Leo and a Pomeranian named Teddy - both of which are very naughty and very spoilt! Her interests outside work are cycling, especially on a sunny day where she rides for miles and upcycling vintage furniture. She likes to eat out and have and her passion is watching Wales play rugby especially in the 6 Nations.

Hannah Whitlock

Hannah has been a part of the team since 2020 after spending 11 years working at Tesco. Animals have been present throughout her life so as well as working she's volunteered for animal charities as that's where she's been happiest. She currently has two dogs and three chinchillas with an aim to buy a bigger house as you can't have too many furry friends! Her favourite place to visit is Japan and her favourite breed of dog is a Boxer.

Isabelle joined us as a Student Nurse in 2022, graduated as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2023 and has been a member of the team ever since.

Kayleigh O'Sullivan

Kayleigh started working on the reception team in October 2020 after working in a hotel for 15 years. She shares her home with her fiancé and young daughter. In her spare time, she spends most of her time on family days out and socialising with friends. Kayleigh has grown up with dogs but currently doesn't have any pets of her own but is looking forward to adopting some fury friends in the future.

Peter Dale BVSC

Peter Dale qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Bristol University in 1976. He owned and worked in a large mixed practice in Neath for over 30 years alongside his wife Jill (who also works with us) and other partners. He has treated all species but has a special interest in equine treatment and orthopaedics. He now works part time as an orthopaedic surgeon at several different practices.

Rebecca Lambert

Rebecca started working with us as an Animal Nursing Assistant in March 2022 to gain some knowledge before starting her Student Veterinary Nursing course in September 2022. She is now working very hard to achieve her goal of becoming a fully qualified veterinary nurse. Rebecca spends her free time in the gym, going for long walks with her dog and spending time with friends and family.

Rhian Parrington

Rhian started working as our receptionist in January 2016, after being a client at the practice for many years. Over the years, she has had many pets including dogs, a cat, rabbits and horses.

Robyn Jones RVN

Robyn qualified as a RVN Veterinary Nurse in October and has since joined our team at Victoria Veterinary Practice. Robyn has many animals at home including five dogs, six guinea pigs and several different breeds of lizards. Robyn has special interests in exotic animals and loves all aspects of nursing.

Rolf Koenen

Rolf was born and raised in the Netherlands and graduated from the University of Ghent in Belgium in 2017. He enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine; however, Rolf has a special interest in orthopaedics and surgery. In his spare time, Rolf enjoys riding on his motorcycle and going to the gym. Rolf also enjoys tinkering with his bike and car.

Ruth Jones

Ruth started working at the practice in January 2018 as a receptionist after working as a Clerical Officer at Neath and Port Talbot hospital for 3 years. After finishing school, Ruth attended Pencoed College where she completed a HND in Equine Studies. Ruth has been brought up on a farm and is passionate about all animals and knew from a young age that this is what she wanted to do. Ruth shares her home with her partner Ian and their Ragdoll cat Kitty. Ruth also owns numerous animals, including 3 Border Collies, 2 Welsh Sheepdog's, sheep, chickens, ducks and horses on her farm. Ruth likes to rescue ex battery hens/ducks, where they then enjoy a free range life. Ruth has represented Wales on many occasions travelling Europe with her horses competing in the Mounted Games Association of GB (Gymkhana). She enjoys spending time at the farm with her animals, socialising with family and friends and loves rugby.

Sarah Thomas

Sarah graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2015. She has worked with both large and small animals since graduating but has since joined the Victoria Vets team in 2022, where she will now be focusing on small animals only. She used to see work experience at Victoria Vets before and during University so has come back to work with familiar faces. Sarah has a particular interest in internal medicine and dental hygiene. In her spare time Sarah enjoys working out, walking the beautiful scenery Wales has to offer (strategically fitting a pub lunch!), cooking and spending time with her rescued crossbreed dog Frankie.
