Alberto Andreu

Job Titles:
  • Co - Founder and CTO of Unitech3DP
Alberto Andreu is the co-founder and CTO of Unitech3DP, a South Korea-based start-up developing a proprietary 3D printing technology using metal scraps and recycled metals as raw materials. He graduated from Karlsruhe Institute of Science and Technology (KIT) in Germany and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in South Korea with a dual master's degree in mechanical engineering. His 3D printing journey started while working at the 3D printing department at Daimler AG, and throughout his studies and professional career, Alberto has worked with and researched various 3D printing technologies. Since 2022, he is also a researcher affiliated with KAIST University.

Benjamin Haller

Benjamin Haller has supported companies in the adoption of Additive Manufacturing for over 7 years. He has worked for several equipment manufacturers, feedstock suppliers and end users of different metal and polymer technologies in Germany, Sweden and France. His current focus is on helping companies increase the use of AM by educating designers and other professionals via the AMPOWER Academy online learning platform and as an independent consultant.

Bruno Bernard

Job Titles:

Bruno is an engineer by training (Ecole Polytechnique/Ecole des Mines de Paris) and started his career as an executive of the French Ministry of Industry. Leaving the administration sector he became a corporate banker and was 10 years long Managing Director of Credit Lyonnais in Germany. He entered the aerospace industry as a senior executive of Safran Group, first of all in charge of the Group continuous improvement Program and then as CEO of a major Group company devoted to engineering services in aerospace operating worldwide in 11 countries and dealing with major customers like Airbus, Boeing and Embraer and Safran itself. He was the first CEO of AddUp the metal 3D printing machines OEM based on the technology internally developed by Michelin. He is currently a Senior industrial Advisor with a strong focus on implementing innovation in industrial technologies especially 3D printing./div>

Dr. Eric Wycisk

Since 2008 Eric successfully supports OEMs from aerospace, medical and automotive to identify Additive Manufacturing applications and implement production capacities in their regulated environments. With a background in topology optimization, titanium alloys and fatigue he is focused on achieving the maximum part performance with the right AM technology. As Managing Partner at AMPOWER, Eric focuses on technology evaluation and benchmarking, AM material and part properties as well as sustainability.

Dr. Lars Neumann

Lars Neumann is an independent consultant focusing on digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0. Having obtained his PhD in Physics, Lars has held product and sales management positions in additive manufacturing at HP (Spain), MATERIALISE (Belgium/China) and TRUMPF (Germany). Today, he helps his clients translate technology and data into successful products and business cases.

Dr. Maximilian Munsch

Maximilian is a professional user of Additive Manufacturing since 2007. After finishing his dissertation on reduction of residual stresses in metal Additive Manufacturing in 2012, he acquired extensive hands-on experience with different Powder Bed Fusion processes in regulated industry before co-founding AMPOWER in 2017. As Managing Partner at AMPOWER, Max focuses on data analysis, market intelligence and due diligence investigations.

Dr.-Ing. Dirk Herzog

Dr.-Ing. Dirk Herzog has studied Mechanical Engineering at the Leibniz Universität Hannover. He started his career with the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. in 2002, leading the group ‘Cutting, Safety & Special Processes' from 2005, and later the department ‘Materials and Processes'. He received the degree ‘Dr.-Ing.' from the Leibniz Universität Hannover in 2008. After working for the Grant Advisory of Ernst & Young, he joined Hamburg University of Technology in 2011. He served in the Institute of Laser and System Technologies as senior engineer and held a substitute professorship in ‘Digitalization in the Design of Products and Processes', before joining the Institute for Industrialization of Smart Materials as senior engineer. In parallel, he acts as Senior Project Manager in the Additive Academy of the Fraunhofer IAPT.

Fabio Sant'Ana

Fabio graduated in Precision Mechanics by the Swiss Brazilian Senai School and College and received Bachelors degree in Business Administration by Universidade Paulista. He has 30 years of experience in helping companies to acquire and make the most of manufacturing equipment. As an entrepreneur and avid for knowledge, Fabio is a member of the ASTM (F42 Additive Manufacturing committee / Member 2066434), ABNT (CEE-261 Additive Manufacturing and CB-26 Dental Medical-Hospital / Member 578499), specialist and "Head of Delegation" representing Brazil in the plenary and technical meetings of ISO TC261 - Additive Manufacturing. Complementary he is "Community Manager" in Brazil of 3DHeals International, an organization that encourages the use of Additive Manufacturing in Medicine. With many courses in the areas of CAD/CAM, Surface Modeling and AM, he graduated in EBM Additive Manufacturing by Arcam AB, Sweden and in Mill-Turn Machining at Willemin-Macodel, Switzerland. Fabio is motivated by connecting people and companies with the right tools.

Franc Coenen

As a freelance journalist, Franc Coenen has extensive experience writing about the manufacturing industry in the Benelux. Approximately 25 years ago, he encountered a 3D printer for the first time at EuroMold, which piqued his interest. Since then, he has closely followed developments in the additive manufacturing (AM) industry. In 2015, he launched his own online platform dedicated to 3D printing and additive manufacturing in the Benelux: 3D Print magazine. While covering various 3D printing applications, his primary focus remains on industrial 3D printing, encompassing both metal and polymer-based processes.

Gal Raz

Gal Raz is an additive manufacturing, and CAD expert with more than 25 years of experience, and a proven record of developing new markets for CAD and AM solutions. He has held senior positions in several additive manufacturing companies, including working as an AM specialist at Siemens, as GM at the largest AMC in SE Asia based in Singapore, and, as a manager in the largest AMC in Israel. Gal Raz is currently BD director for an AM system manufacturer and consults for several companies and research institutions. Furthermore, he has been publishing the 10x3D, a local AM newsletter published weekly since 2014.

Hideaki Oba

Since 2016, Hideaki Oba has been working as a researcher at the Japan 3D Printing Industry Technology Association, aiming to improve awareness of AM technology in Japan, promote its use, and co-create the industry. The Japan 3D Printing Industry Technology Association introduces information in a wide range of fields such as equipment, materials, software, and applications to Japanese companies. After earning a master's degree in organic chemistry at Kyushu University, Hideaki worked as a researcher at an electronics company, engaged in international collaboration activities in the field of optical recording, and promoted standardization.

Jaspreet Sidhu

Currently the CEO of NCAM - National Centre for Additive Manufacturing India. He is keen to drive broader engagements with brands, businesses, startups, academic and research institutions to implement AM Roadmap of India. Over the years, Jaspreet has influenced many businesses to include not only robust business planning and executional excellence, but also a knack for positioning the business with respect to the prevalent market dynamics. He has been a leader through and throughout his past engagements leading additive manufacturing businesses in UK, Europe, India and Middle-east. He has a Master's Degree in Additive Manufacturing from De Montfort University Leicester England UK with 18 years of work experience.

Josh Dugdale

Josh is a chartered mechanical engineering, with experience in the automotive, clean energy, defence, and security sectors. He started with the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) in October 2016, where he initially led their legislative and standardisation work, before founding Additive Manufacturing UK (AMUK) as a trade association as part of the MTA Cluster in October 2022. Josh has since led AMUK to become the leading voice of Additive and 3D Printing technology in the UK, representing 70 companies who comprise the UK AM ecosystem and launching its inaugural action plan. Josh's experience provides a strong knowledge of the overall AM ecosystem based in the UK.

Kitty Wang

Kitty Wang is the founder of 3D Science Valley. Majored in Mathematics in university and with many years of industry experience including work experiences with Sandvik, Chevron, and DMGMORI, Kitty has provided professional consulting services to Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, multinational corporations and the industry market leaders in China. Kitty is the co-author of the book of <3D Printing and Automobile Industry Technology Development Report> in cooperation with the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, and also is co-author of the book of <3D Printing and Industrial Manufacturing> in cooperation with the Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information.

Mahendran Reddy

Mahendran Reddy, adept in Innovation and Design, brings 25+ years‘ experience in Singapore's creative sectors. He excels in connecting individuals, organizations, and industries to advance 3D Printing and technology. Skilled in management, design thinking, and interpersonal abilities, he excels in team building and lateral influence. As an architect, he founded the National Design Centre and led Additive Manufacturing adoption in Southeast Asia's consumer sector at a global MNC. Guiding Additive Manufacturing efforts at NAMIC Singapore, he led Global AM Summits. Graduating from NUS School of Architecture and holding a Masters from Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL London, Mahendran aims to enhance Fehrmann Tech Group's global presence with his expertise.

Matthias Schmidt-Lehr

Paul Gradl

Job Titles:
  • Expert at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center
Paul Gradl is a principal engineer and subject matter expert at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama. Mr. Gradl serves as a Principal Investigator and leads several projects for additive manufacturing of liquid rocket engine engines and has supported various development and flight programs over the last 20 years. He authored and co-authored over 120 journal articles and conference papers; published a book under AIAA, "Metal Additive Manufacturing for Propulsion Applications," in 2022; holds five patents; and regularly teaches courses in additive manufacturing. Gradl is the recipient of numerous NASA and industry awards and medals; an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and serves as an advisor to industry. Gradl was named one of "The Most Influential Personalities of Additive Manufacturing in 2020" by 3Dnatives and the recipient of "Engineer of the Year" by AIAA in 2022.

Prof. Dr. Christian M. Seidel

Christian Seidel is Professor for "Manufacturing Technologies and Additive Manufacturing" at Munich University of Applied Sciences and Management Consultant for Additive Manufacturing. Christian has already received five awards from European and American organizations for his achievements in the field of additive manufacturing. His previous positions include Chairman of ISO TC261 and Head of AM research at Fraunhofer IGCV.

Rajeev Kulkarni

As an accomplished entrepreneur and executive, Rajeev, in his role as the Chief Strategy Officer of Axtra3D, brings extensive leadership experience in the fields of 3D Printing, business strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. A true innovator, he joined 3D Systems in the early 1990s, playing a pivotal role in inventing various aspects of five distinct 3D Printing platforms (SLA, Inkjet, DLP, SLS, Paste) and leading the growth of the 3D Printing Industry. His achievements include multiple US and international patents, along with receiving multiple "Outstanding Innovation of the Year" awards. During his tenure, he led global R&D for all products, established the desktop 3D Printer business, and most recently, managed all M&A activities. Rajeev is also the founding member of the Inception Micro Angel Fund and the Charlotte Angels Fund in Charlotte. Recognizing his expertise, the Governor of North Carolina appointed him to the North Carolina Governors' Entrepreneurship Council, where he provides guidance on expanding statewide entrepreneurship. He has been honored with the "40-Under-40" award by the Charlotte Business Journal.

Timo Führer

Timo joined the AMPOWER team in 2020. With a Master of science in the field of production technology and management he combines profound engineering know-how with an eye for economic correlations. In former affiliations he has been intensively involved in Additive Manufacturing and worked on numerous projects in research and consulting. At AMPOWER Timo is leading the market and technology analysis as well as consulting projects involving polymer based Additive Manufacturing.
