Artúr is a founding partner of AKF Legal. He is a pioneer in providing legal services in the field of venture capital investments. Over the past 10 years, he has created or significantly influenced the standardized legal documentation for this sector of legal services. Artúr's key area of expertise lies in transactions and projects involving companies in various business sectors, particularly technology companies and high-value-added sectors. His clients include numerous leading start-ups operating in the Slovak Republic, as well as prominent investor-backed platforms. Artúr has unique experience in structuring and implementing joint ventures and incentive schemes such as ESOP and PSOP. Throughout his career, he has successfully concluded hundreds of mergers, acquisitions, and investment transactions. Artúr also provides legal services in contract law, intellectual property law, marketing law, and legal aspects related to digitalization (such as legal advice for digital services, e-commerce, and applications).

Ida specializes in labor law, competition law, and EU law (including public procurement, free movement, and state aid), regulatory issues, as well as anti-corruption. She has extensive experience providing advice in the field of labor law to domestic and international companies and organizations. Her advisory services cover all aspects of company labor law, including reorganizations, business transfers, individual labor issues, trade secrets, and workplace matters.

Jozef is a partner at AKF Legal. In his practice, he specializes in real estate law, contract matters, and personal data protection. Through close collaboration with both Slovak and international clients as a member of project teams, he has gained unique experience and comprehensive understanding of the technical, legal, and business aspects of real estate projects, from acquisition to sale. Jozef provides clients with advice on mergers and acquisitions, structuring relationships with financial investors, project preparation and permitting, as well as during construction and subsequent sale of real estate projects. His clients include prominent Slovak and international investors operating in the residential and commercial construction and shopping center operation sectors. Clients particularly appreciate Jozef's understanding of technical issues related to permitting and construction of real estate projects, which is enhanced by providing advice on contract matters to leading architectural and design firms.

Ján has been a part of the AKF Legal team since 2022. In the past, he has worked in several reputable international law firms, providing advice on various acquisitions, investments, and real estate transactions. Ján has also served as the Head of Legal Department at YIT Slovakia a.s. Clients highly appreciate Ján for his pragmatic approach and ability to perceive legal issues in the broader context of their commercial activities. He has extensive experience in corporate law, real estate law, intellectual property law, and working with clients in the IT sector. Ján also represents clients in disputes related to commercial law and real estate law.

Katarína is an attorney at AKF Legal. She has extensive experience in commercial law and real estate law (acquisitions, investments, sales, and lease of property), as well as administrative proceedings, particularly related to permitting and construction of real estate projects. In the past, she served as the head of the legal department at CORWIN, where she provided legal support to top management and other levels of management within the company group. Thanks to her practical experience from her previous role, Katarína has exceptional understanding of the functioning of corporate and intra-group structures in the implementation of real estate projects. Katarína also regularly represents clients in disputes related to commercial law, contract law, labor law, and debt recovery.
Katarína has been practicing law since 2009. She provides legal services in Slovak and English languages.
Kristína specializes in corporate and commercial law, with experience in European and domestic transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, and mergers. She has over 8 years of experience as a lawyer at Panasonic Europe, providing legal support to top management and all levels of management in Panasonic companies across Europe. Kristína advised on all cross-border issues arising from marketing and sales of consumer electronics products in Europe, particularly in the areas of international contract negotiation, commercial law, corporate law, competition law, and compliance.

Lucia graduated from the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava and has been a reliable member of the AKF Legal team since 2023. During her university studies, she worked in leading Slovak law firms, where she was part of legal teams focusing on general corporate law, commercial law and contract law. In her day-to-day work, she assists in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of commercial contracts, particularly in the area of venture capital investments, and provides ongoing assistance in due diligence and litigation processes.
Lucia has been practicing law since 2023. She provides legal services in Slovak and English.
Martin graduated from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava in 2021. After successfully completing his studies, he joined our team as a legal intern. During his studies, he gained legal experience at a reputable law firm in Bratislava, where he focused primarily on corporate law, contract law, and administrative law. In his work, Martin primarily focuses on commercial law, real estate law, and preparing submissions in the field of administrative law.

Michaela is a proud alumna of the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava and has been a valued member of the AKF Legal team since 2023. During her studies, she refined her skills at leading Slovak law firms, gaining her expertise in legal teams specialising in general corporate law, commercial law, and contract law. Within our team, Michaela plays an important role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of various types of commercial contracts, with a particular emphasis on venture capital investments. She also provides invaluable support in ongoing due diligence and litigation processes.

Rebecca has extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property and corporate law. She specializes in intellectual property rights, information technology, and data protection. She regularly assists global and local clients in transactional matters, including licensing agreements, data transfers and outsourcing, as well as strategic GDPR projects and compliance. Rebecca has experience working for large global companies as well as family businesses and start-ups. She is an experienced litigator, focusing on dispute resolution and settlement.

Ľubomír is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava and a member of the AKF Legal team. During his student days, he worked in a leading international law firm and subsequently worked for one of the largest Slovak technology companies operating in the field of fintech. Before joining AKF Legal in 2024, he worked in a leading law firm, focusing mainly on family property structuring, legal succession and tax law. At AKF Legal, he mainly deals with start-up companies, venture capital investments, mergers & acquisitions, but also general corporate law.
