RoofCreator gives you the ability to quickly create accurate 3d Roofs for your complex residential buildings. Accurate roof design is critical for quantity takeoffs, roof plans, and elevations for your construction documents. The RoofCreator application is an add-in for Autodesk®'s Revit® Software that allows advanced modeling of roofs in Revit®. Though Revit® itself has a native roof feature, it quickly reaches its limitation when trying to model real-world residential roofs. The RoofCreator application is a supplemental tool that allows you to create advanced roofs which are using native Revit® roof elements... We know most of the homes you design don't have just one ceiling height. Creating roofs from different bearing heights (plate heights) is challenging using the native Revit roof application. RoofCreator addresses this issue with ease including those pesky returns that tuck underneath raised eaves.
