Brett Dinsmore

Brett Dinsmore joined Arch Corporation in 2017, where he is responsible for investment analysis, financial modelling, and due diligence for the company's private and public markets strategies. Prior to joining Arch Corporation, Brett was Manager, Platform Finance at RBC Capital Markets, where he was responsible for implementing new policies and leading process improvements across the capital-markets platform. Before that he spent four years with BDO Canada, beginning his career with the firm's Sault Ste. Marie office in 2013, where he was a Junior Accountant. In 2015, Brett transferred to BDO's Toronto office, where he reached the level of Senior Accountant. Brett has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (with Honours) from Algoma University, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of CPA Ontario.

Daniel Argiros - CEO, Chairman

Daniel Argiros is a successful, experienced alternative investment specialist in the Canadian private-equity sector where he is focused on real estate, infrastructure and renewable energy. Through his various affiliates, Mr. Argiros has established a strong track record in private-equity investment, earning an average net IRR in the mid-teens since 1990. He began his career in 1985 with Deloitte in Toronto, where he became a tax specialist. Mr. Argiros joined a wealth-advisory group in 1988 where he maximized the value of a real-estate investment portfolio, particularly capitalizing on a 1993 recession. Following his buy-out of the investment portfolio, in 1997 Mr. Argiros founded Acanthus Real Estate Corporation, a TSX-listed company focused on real estate across Canada in the multi-unit residential, commercial, senior care, and hospitality sectors. Mr. Argiros ultimately partnered with La caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in a privatization that valued the firm at more than $550 million in 2000. In the same year, together with two other former Acanthus executives, Mr. Argiros co-founded Conundrum Capital Corporation ("Conundrum"), a Canadian private-equity management firm. Conundrum acquired, managed, and sold assets in various real-estate classes, aggregating $4.3 billion of historical transaction value by 2014 and deploying institutional capital from top Canadian and international companies including RBC, Manulife, Sun Life, General Motors, and numerous others. In 2010, through Conundrum, Mr. Argiros founded Potentia Solar Inc. which capitalized on Ontario's green energy legislation and focused on the solar rooftop sector in Canada. Together with its major investor, Power Corporation of Canada, Potentia grew to become Canada's largest solar rooftop developer, owner and operator. In 2016, Mr. Argiros and Conundrum successfully sold Potentia to the majority shareholder (an affiliate of Power Corporation) for a total capitalization of over $700 million. In the same year, Conundrum entered into a partnership with Manulife, monetizing a non-controlling portion of the firm's multi-unit residential real estate portfolio under its Q Management brand. Manulife is a trademark of The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company, one of Canada's largest financial institutions. Today, Conundrum manages $2 billion in assets in the multi-unit residential sector. All assets are internally managed by more than 220 employees comprising head office and field staff. Mr. Argiros founded Arch Corporation in 2017.

David Clarke

David Clarke joined Arch Corporation in 2021, and is responsible for managing projects throughout design, entitlements, and construction. Prior to joining Arch, David served as a Senior Project Manager (Construction) for Minto Apartment REIT and Minto Properties Inc. In his role, David managed a team of construction project managers and site supervisor executing various high-rise multi-family residential projects. David has an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology from Centennial College and is a member of Project Management Institute.

Kian André Farhoumand

Kian André Farhoumand is a Swiss wealth and asset manager with over 18 years of work experience in the finance industry. Mr. Farhoumand is currently overseeing Arch's client relationships and capital-partnering efforts with institutional and Ultra High Net-Worth private investors and families. Prior to joining Arch Corporation, he was a top-performing wealth manager with three leading banks in their respective countries, namely UBS, Citigroup, and the Royal Bank of Canada. After completing his Political Science master's degree at the University of Geneva, Mr. Farhoumand stepped into the financial industry when selected by UBS to join its exclusive Graduate Program in 2000. After obtaining his Private Banking degree in 2001, he was solicited to join the in-house Family Office team dedicated to the bank's most valued relationships. He participated actively in the development of tailored solutions dedicated to the bank's top tier client segment and was praised for his relationship and management skills. In 2006, Mr. Farhoumand was approached by Citigroup to leverage and share his expertise in managing sophisticated relationships and to participate in the Citi's Middle East expansion. In 2008, Royal Bank of Canada asked him to join its Swiss Private Bank. Acting as senior private banker and leading the Middle East expansion, Mr. Farhoumand and his teams developed long term and trusting relationships with sophisticated investors. Always willing to undertake new challenges, Mr. Farhoumand led many initiatives with the RBC Investment Solutions team to develop new investments suitable to the particularities of his clients' markets and segments. Following RBC's decision to shut down its International Wealth Management operations across the globe, in 2016 Mr. Farhoumand relocated to Dubai and joined Julius Baer as Executive Director for the Middle East market; his last role prior to joining Arch Corporation in 2018. Through his expertise and his sound knowledge of top-tier investors' financial needs, Mr. Farhoumand has proved to be a productive and devoted manager to both his companies and his clients. Through the diversity of his work experiences, Mr. Farhoumand will contribute to Arch Corporation's target of identifying and developing new business opportunities that will increase new market share while contributing actively to the satisfaction of Arch's investors.

Kirk Lloyd - CFO

Kirk joined Arch Corporation in 2020 as Senior Vice President Finance. Kirk Lloyd is an extensively experienced and knowledgeable real estate financial professional with a long track record of working with pioneers in the real estate industry in Canada. Mr. Lloyd has over 35 years of Canadian and international experience in corporate and public accounting and finance management, and a passion for stewardship of investor capital. Mr. Lloyd began his career in 1982 with Samson Belair as a Staff Auditor and was admitted into the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ontario (now CPA Canada) in 1985. In 1986 Mr. Lloyd moved on to Deloitte & Touche (formerly Touche Ross & Co) as Senior Manager providing assurance, tax and capital market services to many of Canada's leading real estate companies. In 1998 he left public practise and served in senior management roles with several real estate public companies until 2010. From 2010 to 2020, Mr. Lloyd occupied executive roles as Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Potentia Renewables Inc. where he was responsible for all aspects of the accounting, tax, and finance function for a start up solar private company that is now over a billion dollars in assets. Mr. Lloyd also grew the finance group to a team of 15 which reported to its wholly owned shareholder Power Corporation of Canada. Under Mr. Lloyd's stewardship Potentia grew to be the largest independent power producer in Canada. Kirk has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of CPA Ontario.

Lorne Stephenson

Lorne Stephenson is responsible for Corporate Affairs of Arch Corporation. Mr. Stephenson is adept at managing strategic and regulatory issues, both domestic and international. His public sector experience in Ottawa gave him direct insight into the intricacies of the political, legislative and regulatory processes. In 2004, Mr. Stephenson joined Conundrum as a senior executive responsible for managing strategic and regulatory issues and participated in the development, launch and management of its numerous real estate funds. Prior to joining Conundrum, Mr. Stephenson held senior communication and regulatory roles at John Labatt, NetStar Communications and Placer Dome. Given his prior experiences his focus is on managing the regulatory, media corporate affairs objectives for the Firm and its funds and this is the contribution he brings to Arch Corporation. Mr. Stephenson is a graduate of McMaster University.

Nicole Nguyen

Nicole Nguyen joined Arch Corporation in 2018, where she is responsible for financial reporting and compliance for various entities within the Arch group and for Arch funds. She assists the investment team with business development transactions within the Arch fund strategies, considering treasury and reporting aspects. Prior to joining Arch Corporation, Nicole was an Experienced Senior Associate in the Audit/Assurance group at PwC Canada, where she focused on alternative asset management audit clients. Before that she began her career in 2012 at CIBC Mellon, where she was a Senior Fund Accountant and performed fund valuations and prepared financial statements for alternative investment funds. Nicole has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from York University, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of CPA Ontario.

Shana Bond

Shana Bond joined Arch Corporation in 2021, where she is responsible for the strategy, management and execution of the Senior Care portfolio operations. Prior to joining Arch Corporation, Shana served as the National Vice President of Operations with Revera Retirement Inc. She was responsible for the operations and management of 98 homes which represented over 10,000 suites and a diverse team of over 7600 staff dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service. She brings strong experience in managing people, asset development, sales and marketing with a passion to inspire a personalized care experience within the senior space. Prior to joining Revera Retirement Inc in 2012, her previous experiences include Director of Operations and Planning at Herbal Magic, Regional Manager at Cara Operations, Food and Beverage Director at Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre and General Manager/Regional Marketing Advisor for Pepsi Cola Ltd. Shana is an alumna of Western University where she studied business, has an Executive Leadership Certificate from Ivey Business School and holds management/leadership certifications from Revera and Cara Universities.

Vinod Krishnan - Managing Director

Vinod Krishnan is an international investment-management professional with more than 30 years of experience advising ultra-high net worth families. Mr. Krishnan is a member of the International Society for Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Family Firm Institute (FFI). He possesses strong knowledge of the dynamics of global securities markets and their implications for family wealth preservation. His experience ranges from equity, debt, commodities, and currency trading through to structured products, real estate, private equity and venture capital, aviation financing, and commercial aircraft leasing. Mr. Krishnan holds a post-graduate degree in Management from the University of Bombay. He attended an executive program at Harvard Business School and began his career as a business systems analyst with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In his subsequent role with a single-family office, he orchestrated exit strategies, inheritance and succession planning, established a stock broking firm, an asset-management company, and a family office for wealth management with hundreds of millions of dollars of assets under management. Mr. Krishnan has worked throughout South Asia, the Middle East and the United States of America. He has worked alongside asset managers and professional managers in more than thirty countries, including North and South America, Oceania, Europe, and East Asia. Working in the Middle East since 1993, Mr. Krishnan is currently based in the Dubai International Financial Centre as Arch's Managing Director, advising ultra-high-net-worth families and high-net-worth entrepreneurs on wealth-management and business-continuity strategies.
