Dr. Amer Johri

Dr. Johri is a clinician scientist within the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Queen's University. He is the founder of the Cardiovascular Imaging Network at Queen's (CINQ), a vital group of highly qualified personnel (HQP) and students; experts in advanced image processing, multi-centre clinical trial deployment, and knowledge-translation.

Dr. Salwa Nihal

Dr. Salwa Nihal graduated and practiced as a medical doctor overseas but has adopted Kingston as her home. She did her Master's degree in Human Physiology (2012) and completed a second Master's degree in Anatomical Sciences at Queen's University (2017). Dr. Nihal's research interests lie in the development of online modules for Cardiac and Lung Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for Medical Schools.

Dr. Steven Montague

Dr. Montague is a Clinician-Educator, and Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine . Dr. Montague's academic interests include Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and Medical Education. He is convinced that POCUS will soon become as much a part of the bedside assessment as the stethoscope, and is passionately teaching Internists about this powerful tool.
