ALIREZA SEPAS-MOGHADDAM

I have been working as a senior computer vision data scientist at Socure since May 2021. My current work has focused on digital identity verification and fraud detection from visual signals using deep learning in both edge and cloud environments. I also work on constructing and analyzing machine learning datasets, focusing on fairness, privacy, and mitigating dataset bias. Before moving to industry, I held a postdoctoral fellow position at Ambient Intelligence & Interactive Machines Laboratory (Aiim Lab), Queen's University, where I engaged in theoretical and applied machine learning for computer vision. I received my PhD with distinction and honour from University of Lisbon in January 2019.
