Our goal at Armor Detailing is to treat every vehicle with a preservation mindset. This is especially true when it comes to the exterior. Most people are not aware how delicate their paint really is. You can almost think of paint like the "skin" of your car. It needs moisturizing and sunscreen just like our skin and if not applied it will "dry out" and "burn". this is where correcting and protecting comes in to play. If paint has been neglected or not properly cared for it will need what is called Paint Correction. This is, very simply, removing swirls and scratches in the clear coat or "skin" of the paint prior to protecting it. The protection stage can be done with many different products ranging from simple waxes to synthetic paint sealants all the way to the highest form of paint protection known as Ceramic Coatings This is the long term "sun screen" for your paint. As it bonds to the freshly corrected clear coat it cures and hardens to effectively become a thin sacrificial barrier..
