CAPTE WORKSHOP

The CAPTE Workshop aims at celebrating the achievements in the developments of plant phenotyping tools and methods and foster discussions on the next steps of plant phenotyping research under field conditions. The Workshop focuses on high-throughput plant phenotyping mostly dedicated to great crops, to access key structural, morphological, biochemical, sanitary, and functional traits... High-throughput plant phenotyping under field conditions beneficiated from huge advancement in vehicles, sensors, and interpretation methods during the last decade. In France, the Phenome project, i.e. the French Plant Phenotyping Network, and the CAPTE research unit largely contributed to develop efficient methods that are now operated routinely over field experiments by several public institutions and private companies including Hiphen. We wanted to organize a workshop with colleagues in France, Europe and abroad to discuss the state of the art of high-throughput plant phenotyping under field..
