In my time as head of the cardiology department at the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, I re-organized many important workflows by introducing new ways of information management. My pediatric cardiology database (Cardiopat) served as a hospital-wide platform for exchanging information about cardiology patients (e.g. echocardiography reports, referral letters, summary sheets)... Evaluation of a new, computer-assisted method for teaching echocardiography for the non-cardiologist... I developed an App for the iPhone which provided frequently used calculations in Pediatric Cardiology and reference values for EKG and echocardiography (PaedCardioCalc).
