CLINTON COLLEGE

For over 125 years Clinton College has been fulfilling a necessary mission of educating deserving, yet underserved students. Through a holistic, culturally competent curriculum and caring committed instructors our students have been able to achieve and excel in scholarship, leadership and citizenship. Founded by ministers and named in honor of Bishop Isom Caleb Clinton as a school for the descendants of formerly enslaved African Americans, the mission of the College has always been to provide a quality, affordable education for the neediest of students. The College has grown and expanded its focus, from a Junior College to a four-year liberal arts college. As we stand today, we are poised to become one of the most innovative small, private historically Black colleges in the nation.
