Since 1997 he has been the "first chairman" of the Merano section, Before that, he was a regional representative in the South Tyrol's management team for several years and has been Vice President of the AVS since 2018.
Since 2018 he heads the training committee in the state/regional management team, he is open to sport climbing, youth, nature conservation and culture.
