Corazon International L3C is a hybrid of a corporation and a nonprofit based in the Chicago area. A Low-Profit Limited Liability Company (L3C) designation is a relatively new organizing entity in the United States, only having been adopted in Illinois and a handful of other states. The purpose of the L3C is to promote socially-driven endeavors through business initiatives... It is important to note that even though an L3C can earn profits for its stakeholders, Corazon International L3C DOES NOT distribute its earnings as profits to any stakeholders nor investors. Instead, our stakeholders are the people we help all over the world. All profits and proceeds, grants and donations go directly into our charitable operations spanning North America and Asia...
