Daisy and Rainbow Childcare comprises of Daisy Preschool and Rainbow Nursery, both based in Totnes... At Daisy and Rainbow Childcare, our approach to early years is to encourage and enable children to become confident learners through their own play and exploration. Our role is to provide a nurturing, supportive and interesting environment which allows children to grow and thrive in safety. All of our areas are kept open plan to the children to allow them to make their own play choices and to be able to play with and alongside their friends... All staff have positive clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service, hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate, have safeguarding training and either hold or are working towards a level 3 or 4 qualification in Childcare. Our leadership team is degree qualified. We work to ratios of adults to children: 1:3 for under 2-year olds, 1:4 for 2 years olds and 1:8 for our 3 and 4-year olds
