Abby graduated from East Tennessee State University with her Bachelor of Science as a Registered Dental hygienist, Summa Cum Laude, Alpha Eta Society, Allied Health Honor Society, Sigma Phi Alpha, Dental Hygiene Honor Society and ADHA (American Dental Hygienist Association) Member. As part of her job, she loves to improve the oral health of her community one smile at a time. It is Abby's goal to make your dental experience a pleasant one for even the most anxious patient. Abby is trained to administer nitrous, local anesthesia and she is laser certified. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with family and friends and challenging anyone to a game of Monopoly Deal.
Originally from Maine, Alicia graduated from the University of Maine with her MEd, specializing in kinesiology. Currently Alicia is a professor and also works at DDA doing marketing and advertising. Dr. Trott and Alicia have been married for 16 years and have been blessed with 3 children. Alicia enjoys working hard and playing hard. She greatly enjoys making wonderful memories with her family. Alicia has enjoyed doing triathlons, anything from sprint distance to full Ironman. She has run many marathons, including Boston, Chicago, Marine Corp, and New York City. Her real passion is mountains. Being on top of any mountain is her real happy place. God is her ALL and her saving grace!!!
Donna is a highly experienced accountant and office manager. She has spent a number of years working for the state of Tennessee and working in managerial dentistry. Along with the other team members, Donna helps to make sure patient satisfaction remains high through effectively listening to our patients and helping them achieve a smile they can be proud of. Donna keeps the office running smoothly in so many ways so if you see her thank her for all she does for you and for us. In her spare time you will find Donna always putting her family first, serving her church, taking care of her grandkids and enjoying her pets. And goodness you should hear her play the piano!!!!!
Dr. Jamie Trott graduated from University of New England School of Dentistry as a top-notch student with his focus being quality dentistry and missions. Mission work has always been Dr. Trott's passion. He has served as a missionary in Sweden, southern Mexico, Northern Ireland and impoverished areas in the Caribbean.
Dr. Trott graduated with his undergraduate degree from Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts with a major in biology and religion. During his university years he spent 2 and 1/2 years studying abroad. He has learned alot about different countries and different cultures but one thing stands out predominately and that is that all people matter. Everyone deserves to be treated with integrity, compassion and quality care.
When Dr. Trott is not working he enjoys hiking, backpacking, boating, motorcycling, most outside activities and being with family.
Lisa has dedicated her career to dentistry and she is so experienced and well versed in dental management. It is Lisa's priority to help our patients get the care they need. She is always ready and willing to help not only the patients but also our whole dental team. We are so appreciative of her top notch work ethic. Lisa has such a sweet heart and keeps us all laughing. Lisa is a mom to her favorite son, Jeremy. If you don't see Lisa's smile at work you might find her antiquing or at a yard sale.
Teresa has many years of experience in dental scheduling and financial coordination. Her friendly, caring, intuitive personality make her an integral part of our team. The minute you walk in the door you will be greeted by her hospitable personality. She will make you feel very welcome and comfortable from the very first visit. When Teresa is not at the front desk helping patients you will find her caring for her grand-babies and family. She enjoys outreach and is constantly looking for ways to brighten people's lives.
Tracy received her degree in Dental Assisting at Florence-Darlington Technical College in Florence, South Carolina. She later moved back to her hometown of Tellico Plains and started working at Davidson Dental Center in 2003. She received her Expanded Functions certificate in 2009 at The University of Tenneessee in Memphis. While implants are her favorite, Tracy enjoys all aspects of dentistry and patient care. Tracy is happy to be back home at Dental Designs at Athens and looks forward to helping serve her patients and the community. In her free time, Tracy and her husband, Dean, enjoy watching their girls play softball. As a family, they have gone on many camping adventures creating many great memories. If Tracy goes missing you can find her in her garden or greenhouse. This girl has a green thumb!
Veronika received her dental hygiene degree from Hiawasee Dental Hygiene Program and East Tennessee State University. She is licensed to treat with local anesthesia and nitrous oxide allowing her patients the most comfortable experience possible. She is trained and highly qualified to help you with radiographs, periodontal assessments, prophylaxis appointments, periodontal treatments including scaling and root planning, laser treatments and localized antibiotics. Veronika started working at this dental office in 2014 with Dr. Davidson. When Veronika is not caring for her patients you might find her hiking, exploring, enjoying floating down the river, or spending time with her family.
