Alex Rapi Milan

Alex Milan is experienced in the banking and remittance industries for more than 20 years. After being an OFW (overseas Filipino worker) for more than 40 years, Mr. Milan has empathy for many overseas workers who financially support their families from far away. His passion helped him make an impact on the banking and remittance industries. Mr. Milan initially became the Former Europe Managing Director of the Philippines National Bank and was an officer of the European region for many years. After Digital Wallet was founded, Mr. Milan joined as Director and Executive Vice President to help develop and improve the most popular global mobile money transfer service in Japan known as Smiles Mobile Remittance.

Eiji Miyakawa - CEO, Chairman

Eiji Miyakawa founded Digital Wallet Global based on his dream to strengthen the global economy by connecting and working with many people around the world. Initially, Mr. Miyakawa became a licensed lawyer in 1999. He then entered Sony Corporation. At that time, he launched FeliCa Networks as a joint venture company with NTT DoCoMo to offer a mobile payment service. The next step he took was to become a General Manager at Sony Corporation in the Global Cloud Platform Development and Management Department in 2001. There, he was responsible for digital services of TV, audio, PlayStation, entertainment services and more for 150 million users all over the globe. After he resigned from Sony, he took the initiative to establish Digital Wallet Corporation in 2014, which is now commonly known to be the developer and owner of the most popular global remittance service in Japan.

Takeru Kaneko - CTO

Takeru Kaneko has been alongside Mr. Miyakawa for many years as the director and CTO of Digital Wallet. Mr. Kaneko brings a lot of experience to the table as he has programmed for over 30 years. From 2000, Mr. Kaneko was a highly-qualified professional for architecture design and development on a global scale as well as a programmer developing systems at an R&D company for 8 years. He then decided to join Sony Corporation. There, he built and operated a global cloud platform by leading development and operations teams in Japan and overseas. In the middle of his employment, he became Senior Manager of the Cloud Platform Development and Management Department of Sony. After working at Sony for 5 years, he stepped outside of his comfort zone to help establish Digital Wallet, became the director and CTO in 2015 and eventually developed the widely-used point system for the biggest retail company in Japan.
