Alfred N. Brower - CEO, President

Alfred N. Brower, whose senior level experience within the digital signal processing industry spans over twenty years, serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of DSPCon. One of the original founders of the Company, Mr. Brower is responsible for overseeing all aspects of DSPCon's operations and offers a combination of technical and managerial expertise that fosters an atmosphere of creative growth. Prior to DSPCon, Mr. Brower served in a number of senior-level design engineering positions with Bell Laboratories and ITT Corporation. He is a published author and widely acknowledged expert in the fields of speech coding and digital recording.

J. Richard Carlson

J. Richard Carlson began his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wireless Matrix in May 2004. He is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Teletouch Communications, Inc., a publicly traded wireless communications company based out of Tyler, Texas. While at Teletouch, Mr. Carlson led the firm through a challenging transition from a dedicated paging company to a multi-product and wireless service distribution company. Mr. Carlson was most recently the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of U.S. Inspect, LLC, the largest non-franchise home inspection business in the United States. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A degree from Georgetown University.

John Pecina

John Pecina is responsible for the specification, design and project management of digital signal processing and recording systems and software. A published author and prominent industry speaker, Mr. Pecina has over twenty years of experience in engineering and commercially deploying large- and small-scale digital signal processing systems. His extensive technical expertise encompasses a wide range of DSP domains and applications including acoustic signal processing, optical metrology, image formation, target recognition, control systems, interferometry, and automatic test and measurement equipment.

Jon S. Ogg

Jon S. Ogg currently serves as Chief Executive officer of AeroVise, LLC. Prior to AeroVise, Mr. Ogg spent 33 years with the United States Air Force, serving in multiple assignments of increasing responsibility spanning defense systems research, development, and sustainment. He is an experienced Systems Engineer who spent his first 15 years tackling engineering challenges spanning virtually all Air Force fighter, bomber, airlift and trainer propulsion systems in the field today. In 1991, he served as Chief Engineer for the F-22 Advanced Tactical Fighter, bringing it from source selection to production. A recipient of numerous industry awards and honors, Mr. Ogg retired from the Air Force as a Tier 2 SES (2 Star General officer equivalent) in August, 2008. He holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering, a master's degree in aeromechanical engineering, and has completed Ph.D. coursework from the Ohio State University. He also has received a master's degree in business management from the MIT Sloan School of Management under the Sloan Fellows Program.

Kevin Wheatley

Mr. Wheatley is a Relationship Manager in the Integrated Retirement Plan Solutions Group for The Vanguard Group, and, in that capacity, manages Defined Contribution Plan relationships between $20 million and $100 million in assets. With a distinguished career in Financial Services, he is an acknowledged expert in transaction management, financial analysis and forging investor-relationship leadership alliances. Prior to joining Vanguard, he was Director of Capital Markets for PNC Bank in Philadelphia. He began his career as a Corporate Banking Officer at Maryland National Bank, where he managed loan portfolios in excess of $30 million. In addition to his seat on the Board of DSPCon, Mr. Wheatley was a member of the Commerce Finance Association, served as Treasurer of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is a past Editor-in-Chief of Executive Insight, a financial newsletter. He earned his master's degree in finance from Drexel University and his undergraduate degree in business administration from Loyola College.

Peter Jenkins


Robert F. Franz - Founder

A co-founder of DSPCon, Robert Franz currently serves as the Company's Hardware Subject Matter Expert. In this role, he is responsible for managing product and system development activities as well as overseeing board-level design engineering initiatives. A recognized industry expert in modem design, RF system development and active noise cancellation systems, Mr. Franz possesses over twenty years of hands-on engineering application experience in advanced, real-time digital signal processing, software development and data acquisition systems.

Scott Snyder

Job Titles:

Scott Snyder directs and oversees all real-time and post-processing analytical software development at DSPCon. In this role, he is responsible for managing software requirements in support of applications and projects that require data streaming, algorithm development, post-test data analysis and demodulation. An accomplished hardware and software engineer, Mr. Snyder's expertise and experience includes over twenty years of diversified digital signal processing development leadership in support of a wide range of data acquisition hardware and applications.
