We provide mental health counseling to veterans, active duty military members, African Americans and other disadvantaged groups... We provide counseling to individuals and families to help them build healthy and resilient lifestyles; promote institutional and cultural change within communities; and empower individuals by educating them about large systems... The Empathy and Resiliency Center is a nonprofit 501(c) (3), faith-based organization, providing integrated and easily accessible mental health counseling and training services to African Americans, active duty military members and veterans who suffer from trauma and untreated psychological distress.
