Calgary based factor-e-direct is the developer and producer of BTW (Better Than Wood) sound attenuation ceiling and wall paneling and LPC (Low Profile Cavity) raised access floor systems... Millions square ft of LPC (Low Profile Cavity) floor are currently in use in North America. LPC webbing, with 9 steel pedestals, offers more support for tiles than any other raised access floor system, providing more capacity for cables than could ever be required at a height of just 2-3/4" (70mm). The previous web design (by others) for low profile access floor proved difficult to maintain dimensional tolerances and was poorly sized for transport. The system also employed a cementitious tile weighing approximately 24lbs, which tended to warp and were extremely difficult and messy to cut.
