It all began in the back of a trailer behind a pickup truck sharpening Hair styling shears for stylists in salons throughout small towns of Michigan and Ohio. The Fitzgerald boys launched Northern Edge Precision Sharpening in 2006 and hit the ground running. With previous work background in machining metalology, sales, business relations, and landscaping, they were striving to find a new way to make a difference in the world. As the years progressed and Northern Edge began to develop a name for themselves, it didn't take long for the passion to really take hold. "Hairstyling shears are like jewelry, they are all handled and treated with a certain level of care and all have a specific level of quality and craftsmanship." It is this way with hair styling shears. The quality of shears doesn't differ much between stylist and salon.
