FRASER PIANOS

My training began as a piano tuner and restorer under the tutelage of John Paul Williams and Samantha Hewson at the former London College of Furniture. I was in the final year of graduates before the course was unfortunately closed for good... During my final year of studies I worked at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, helping to maintain the tuning of the conservatoire's many pianos under the supervision of former Bosendorfer concert technician Malcolm McKeand... After graduating with a 1st class degree with honours, I accepted a role at Jaques Samuel Pianos in London as a tuner and technician. further training followed in the form of a 5 year concert technician course which included periods of training at the Kawai factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, the Grotrian & Steinweg factory in Braunschweig, Germany and ultimately one of the world's leading manufacturers of concert grand pianos, the Fazioli factory in Sacile near Venice, Italy.
