Anny Derrico

Anny Derrico is an intellectual property paralegal at Gallium Law, with prior experience as an IP paralegal and legal secretary, and a personal injury paralegal and intake specialist. Anny graduated Cum Laude from Cabrini University, with a bachelor's degree in History and Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. While at Cabrini, she was Vice President of Cabrini University's Phi Sigma Tau chapter and President of Cabrini University's Students Take Action Now Darfur (STAND) chapter. During her undergraduate years, Anny took pride in being an active member of her community; she volunteered as a poll watcher for the Committee of Seventy in Philadelphia, worked on a gubernatorial campaign, and was involved in local government. After graduating from Cabrini University, Anny attended Pace University School of Law in White Plains, NY, and plans to complete her legal degree in the near future. During her time at Pace, Anny volunteered at the Pace Women's Justice Center and performed a summer internship at a high-net-worth matrimonial law firm. Anny has lived all over the country, but currently feels lucky to call North Carolina home. While out-of-office, she can usually be found chasing down her kids or holed up in her garage refinishing a piece of thrifted furniture. She also collects one-of-a-kind purses made of recycled huipils (embroidered blouses worn by indigenous women of Guatemala) and, despite her friends and family saying otherwise, she considers this a "hobby."

Isabel Fox

Isabel Fox is a Registered Patent Agent and has worked with Gallium Law since 2018. Her practice largely revolves around prosecution of utility and design patents, including conducting patent landscape searches, drafting patent applications, and responding to office actions from the USPTO. Isabel enjoys collaborating with clients to help transform their initial notes and sketches into full-fledged patent applications, and, ultimately, into issued patents. During her time at Gallium Law, Isabel has gained experience drafting patent applications across diverse technology areas, including medical devices, manufacturing equipment, smart electronics, and consumer products. Isabel graduated with her B.S. in Science-Business from the University of Notre Dame and entered the Master of Science in Patent Law (MSPL) program at the University of Minnesota Law School. Upon completing the MSPL program, Isabel passed the Patent Bar Exam to become a registered patent agent and began working for Gallium Law. She previously interned at the VA Medical Center in Sacramento, CA, and at Black Hills IP in Minneapolis, MN. A native of Northern California, Isabel grew up outside of Sacramento and now resides in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, near Lake Tahoe. Isha Dahal

Isha Dahal joined Gallium Law in 2022 as an Intellectual Property paralegal. She will soon take t... More Info Isha Dahal joined Gallium Law in 2022 as an Intellectual Property paralegal. She will soon take the Patent Bar Exam to become a Registered Patent Agent and expand her role at the firm. Isha earned her B.S. degree with a major in Biological Sciences from San Jose State University. During her college days, she was a member of the Medical Association club. She volunteered at Kaiser Permanente for about 5 years and at Samaritan Health Ministries Clinic for a year, as well as at other non-profit organizations. She hopes to continue working with different non-profit organizations in the coming future. After graduation, she entered the Master of Science in Patent Law (MSPL) program at the University of Minnesota Law School. During her time there, she was a representative for her MSPL class in the Student Intellectual Property Law Association (SIPLA). She also interned with patent agent Yehuda Binder, and their work together was published by the National Association of Patent Practitioners (NAPP). In her free time, Isha enjoys hiking, reading self-development books, watching new shows and movies, and baking. Mike Bakke

Mike Bakke is a Registered Patent Agent at Gallium Law. Mike previously completed projects for Gallium Law as an independent contractor before being hired onto the team in 2023. While in graduate school, as well as during his time as an independent contractor, he also worked as a contractor at Sherwin-Williams/Valspar and at 3M as a regulatory systems specialist. Mike earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering and B.A. in History from the University of Minnesota - Duluth. He then immediately went on to earn a Master of Science in Patent Law (MSPL) from the University of Minnesota Law School. In his free time, Mike enjoys playing video games and relaxing with his wife and cats. Stanton Braden

Stanton Connell Braden is a Registered Patent Attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Stanton is also a member of the state bars of New York, Texas, and Illinois. Stanton has many years of practice before the USPTO, with experience in technologies such as semiconductors, circuits, wireless communications, software, biotech, and fintech. Stanton is also an inventor, with several patents of his own in the fields of communication and biotech. Stanton has previously served as Senior Patent Counsel for Qualcomm, Inc.; Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for Infineon Technologies; Manager of U.S. Patent Operations for Thomson Consumer Electronics; and Division Patent Counsel to Texas Instruments, Inc. Stanton is also a Registered Professional Engineer (Texas) and a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP). Talia Childs

Talia Childs joined Gallium Law in 2017 as an Intellectual Property paralegal. Since then, her role has expanded to include firm administration, oversight of operations, and human resources. She is now our office manager and focuses on ensuring smooth and consistent daily operations throughout the firm, and, most importantly, client satisfaction. Talia holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Before joining Gallium Law, she has held positions in project management, office management, customer service, and sales in a wide range of industries including (but not limited to) autonomous vehicles, education, and foodservice. She particularly loves working in client-and-customer-facing roles, because they allow her to understand each individual's needs and become a zealous advocate for those she serves. She expertly leverages the financial background and acute attention to detail of her accounting degree, along with her extensive team-management experience, to provide Gallium and its clients with a reliable go-to person for any task. No question is too silly and no request too outrageous - she will do whatever is necessary, with a smile on her face. Outside of work, Talia can usually be found with her nose buried in a book, or putting around in the garden. While she might not necessarily have the world's greenest thumb, she is nevertheless determined to sustainably grow all of her produce at home.
