GUELPH JR B - Key Persons
2024 is Callyn's 2nd season behind the bench with the Regals, and 1st as Head Coach.
Having grown up in Guelph, Callyn played his Minor years in the Guelph Minor Lacrosse Association. He played his first year of Junior with the Jr. B Regals before moving up to play for Kitchener-Waterloo Junior A for the majority of the remainder of his junior career. During his final year with KW, Martin was named an Assistant Captain. He currently plays for the Brampton Express of the Arena Lacrosse League.
Callyn was apart of the Regals coaching staff last season that was awarded Western Conference Coaching Staff of the Year, and he is looking forward to building on last year's successes.
The 2024 season is Cory's 1st as an Assistant Coach with the Regals.
A Jr. B Regals alumni, Cory will be tasked with running the offence in 2024. He sits 2nd on the Jr. B Regals All-Time Points list (314).
The 2023 season is Liam's 2nd season on the Regals' staff as the team's Equipment Manager.
Liam joined the staff after playing his entire Junior career with Guelph Jr. B. An offensive threat whenever he stepped on the floor, he led the team in scoring during the 2017 season and finished his Junior career with 124 points in 51 games in the red, white, and blue.
He will also aid the coaching staff in the 2023 season.

The 2024 season is Matt's 11th season as the team's General Manager.
Matt is a graduate of both the Guelph Minor Lacrosse Association and the Guelph Jr. "B" Regals organization. After graduating from Junior Lacrosse, he went on to play in the Canadian Lacrosse League (CLAX) and Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) as well as 4 years of Senior "B" with the Oakville Titans.
Matt has also had stints in helping the coaching staff on the bench over the years, primarily with the defence.
The 2024 season will be Spencer's 1st as an Assistant Coach with the Regals, where he will be coaching the defence.
Born and raised in Guelph, Steinbach is a graduate of both the Guelph Minor and Guelph Jr. B Regals organizations. He played 4 seasons for the Jr. B's, having been named Captain in his final season (2013).
Spencer is also currently an Assistant Coach with the University of Guelph Gryphons Men's Field Lacrosse Team. He played for the Gryphons from 2011-2015, winning a National Championship in 2013 and 2014. In 2016, he began coaching with the University as its Defensive Coordinator. He became the team's Offensive Coordinator in 2019, where he held the position until being named Assistant Coach in 2023.
In addition to these roles, Steinbach was Head Coach of the Guelph box U13's in 2023 and field U13/U15 team from 2021-2023. In 2022, he began a role as Offensive Coordinator for the Centre-Wellington High School Lacrosse Team, where they have been OFSAA Bronze Medalists the previous two seasons.
2023 is Stacey's 6th season as the Athletic Therapist of the Regals.
Stacey graduated with the highest honours from the Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences Athletic Therapy program in 2017. She became a Certified Athletic Therapist in June 2017 and has experience working as a therapist with varsity athletes at Conestoga College. Stacey has had the privilege of working in sports such as lacrosse, football, wrestling, and rugby.

The 2024 season is Thomas' first with the Jr. B Regals in the Assistant GM role.
A born and raised Guelphite, "Teej" has been around the game of Lacrosse since he was a Peanut. He has been involved with Guelph Minor Lacrosse and/or Guelph Regals Junior B Lacrosse in some capacity over the last 25-30 years.
The game of Lacrosse is a huge passion of Miller's, and so are the Guelph Regals. He is excited to be back and help this team take the next steps to Greatness.
