Homecoming Harvest is a Black Woman-Owned and operated Growing Collective. We believe through collective organizing of gardening and farming we can build sovereign food systems, community, and self-healing connected to land. The definition of homecoming is the act of returning to your home or to a place that is like your home. Whether that be family reunions, Historically Black College & Universities, high schools, family reunions or just being home for the holidays, homecoming has a special meaning that creates a source of fulfillment and healing to the human spirit. Homecoming Harvest is a return to the process and period of gathering - whether that be crops, food memories that connect the next generation to their past, to trying recipes that have been passed down over the years.
