HUGGARD BIBLE CHURCH

Huggard started as a Sunday School Class in an old school house on the corner. That schoolhouse later burned down, and by that time Huggard had a basement built and the school classes were held in the church basement while they built a new school. In 1945, the Sunday School was organized into a church called Huggard Gospel Center, later changed to Huggard Bible Church... We are Independent in our government in that we are not controlled by any denominational body outside our own membership, recognizing our ensemble as Christ's church, guided by the principles of Scripture, and empowered by the Holy Spirit... We are Educational in our approach and we seek more than decisions for Christ. Our call is to make disciples for Christ. Our concern is for a membership that acts out of conviction and not merely convenience.
