She served as graduate faculty in the psychology program at the University of Santa Monica for 12 years. She co-founded and is the Director of Education for an award-winning non-profit that provides rehabilitative programs to incarcerated men and women. That program was featured in a Cannes Film Festival documentary and she was an invited TEDx and PopTech speaker.

David Paul brings over 43 years of experience as a physician leader, educator, and healthcare industry executive, including leading innovation in pre-hospital care, developing and leading multi-hospital cooperative ventures, and system-wide cultural transformations. He has successfully coached all levels of employees, from receptionists through C-level executives. He is a specialist in curriculum design, authoring and facilitating leading edge programs in transformational leadership and emotional intelligence. He is also an At Ease Provider for first responders and their families in Santa Barbara, CA. As Medical Director of Vail Valley Medical Center, he led the transformation of a 19-bed regional hospital to a 49-bed Sports Medicine Center with a worldwide reputation for excellence. He has taught thousands of physicians, nurses, and paramedical professionals. A former Quality Management consultant for Quorum Healthcare, he has taught and led multi-disciplinary teams in developing clinical process quality improvement, resulting in reduced cost in the emergent management of acute knee injuries while simultaneously improving clinical outcomes. As National Faculty for the American Heart Association, he helped improve the quality of acute cardiac care through implementing state-of-the-art standards in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS and ACLS). He founded and co-directed Breckenridge Medical Center, including certifying the facility to receive ambulances. He is a published author of professional journal and popular magazine articles. He is faculty in the Graduate College of Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences at Saybrook University, and formerly graduate faculty in the counseling psychology program at the University of Santa Monica.
