Caroline O'Hagan

Caroline is a Civil Project Engineer at Indigo. Having earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Construction Management from the University of Connecticut, Caroline has developed a comprehensive understanding of the industry's standards. With both structural engineering and field experience, she is able to forge a cohesive integration of practical construction knowledge with digital design capabilities. Her academic and professional achievements reflect her commitment to excellence.

Joseph Wren

Joe is the principal and sole owner of Indigo and is a licensed professional engineer in Connecticut (PEN #21090) with over 30 years of experience in a wide array of civil engineering and construction projects. Joe's project experience includes all aspects of site development and planning, coastal and marine structures and facilities, stormwater management, flood control, roadway and bridge infrastructure improvements, subsurface sewage disposal systems and local, state, and federal permitting. He is very familiar with the municipal land use submittal process and has extensive experience in designing and managing projects at both tidal and inland waterfront sites, environmentally sensitive properties and sites located within FEMA Flood Zones. Joe is also an Approved Hydraulic Engineer with the Connecticut DOT and has vast experience in hydrology and hydraulics. As the principal of Indigo, Joe is personally dedicated to every project and is always directly involved every step along the way from concept through construction including presentations at all meetings and hearings. Additionally, Joe is a licensed real estate salesperson (#762067) in Connecticut and is the Director of Business Development for William Raveis Real Estate New Development Services that covers all new development projects throughout the Northeast and Florida. With this, Joe also can assist with any real estate sales, purchases and/or development needs.

Loren Wren

Loren is the office administrator at Indigo. After 25 years of project management and corporate fundraising, Loren joined the Indigo team to manage all essential administrative functions and personnel matters. Loren holds her B.A. in Marketing and Communications and is also a licensed realtor with William Raveis Real Estate.

Margaret G. Allen

Job Titles:

Margaret (Meg) is a Civil Project Engineer at Indigo with professional experience in municipal stormwater and wastewater management, governmental permitting, earthworks construction, groundwater monitoring, and real estate law. She is pursuing her Professional Engineer licensure and holds degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Physics from Knox College. Passionate about sustainability, Meg completed her Permaculture Design Certification in the summer of 2022.

Raymond Malinowski

Ray is a Civil Project Engineer at Indigo. Ray began his design engineer career at Contech Engineered Solutions in their Stormwater division working with the Texas DOT to meet low impact development objectives after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology. Since joining the team, Ray has been responsible for septic system design, coastal area management plans, and site development plans for residential and commercial projects. Ray is currently pursuing his EIT certificate.

Ross Gladstone

Ross is a Senior Project Manager at Indigo and a licensed professional engineer in Connecticut. He has more than 9 years of civil engineering experience and his background includes residential, commercial/industrial, coastal, and recreational site design. Ross is passionate about guiding clients toward their land-use related goals using sound engineering practices. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from University of Massachusetts Lowell.
