Bacon Collaborative Design Engineering, Inc. (BCDE, Inc.) is a Design and Engineering firm located in Truckee, California. BCDE, Inc. is the successor firm to Shelton & Bacon and Shelton & Associates, which was founded in 1979 by David Shelton. The current principal of BCDE, Inc. is Eric Bacon, who is responsible for the day-today operation of the business. All told, we have been involved with the design or analysis of over 3000 projects in the Sierras and Lake Tahoe area... Our specialty is new and remodeled residences and small commercial buildings. In an area where structure and design are intertwined, BCDE, Inc. offers the services of a professional engineer and licensed designer. Our projects have included everything from modest remodels of just a few square feet to the most opulent residences of up to 16,000 square feet and everything in between...
