Blake was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2011. Blake enhances corporate effectiveness by providing logistical, information systems, and management support at our corporate offices here in Denver, CO. Blake brings extensive experience in the areas of exemplary customer support and office management. Prior to joining KMC University, Blake held various positions at Miller Coors, Janus Funds, and UPS.

Dr. Lisa Hart has been a practicing chiropractic physician for All Hart Chiropractic in Carrollton, Illinois since 1994. She is also a licensed and certified Acupuncturist and a certified Medical Compliance Specialist Physician (MCS-P). Dr. Hart served on the first testing board of the American Chiropractic Association's Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture (ACA CCA), involved in writing the first diplomate exam that allows chiropractors to become certified diplomates within their own profession through the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture. Following that, she then served for several more years as Treasurer of the Executive Board of the ACA CCA.
Dr. Hart has extensive knowledge in compliance and also has experience as a Practice Monitor for the state of Illinois. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. Dr. Hart lives in Jerseyville, Illinois with her husband and daughter. In addition to running a full-time chiropractic and acupuncture practice specializing in several techniques with a focus on treating families, she also enjoys helping fellow colleagues achieve compliance in such areas as OIG and HIPAA compliance, documentation, Medicare, billing and coding.

Dr. Shapiro has been a practicing Chiropractic physician since 1997, he graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic (now NWHSU). He is licensed to practice in both the US and Canada. He has owned and operated his own Chiropractic office for over 20 years. He is a certified Compliance Specialist, MSC-P with Chiropractic proficiency, and a certified professional coder (CPC-Apprentice). In addition, he is an approved compliance monitor for the AZ state Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He has a passion for teaching others and continual personal learning, expressed as a post-graduate instructor for University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, and now as part of the TEAM KMC University!
Dr. Shapiro is a member of the AZ Association of Chiropractic and has practiced there his entire Chiropractic career. He is originally from Winnipeg ("Winterpeg"), Manitoba, Canada, and came down to sunny Tempe, AZ, to thaw out. He owns and practices at Head 2 Toe Chiropractic & Health Care Center, PLLC where he employs Diversified and Drop Piece Chiropractic techniques, other active and passive therapeutic modalities, and nutritional/functional medicine.

Jill Foote currently contracts with KMC University as a subject matter expert. She had over 13 years of chiropractic clinic experience in billing and practice management prior to working for the American Chiropractic Association. In her past position as Senior Manager of Coding and Practice Management she served as staff liaison to the ACA's Coding Manual Workgroup, ICD-10 Taskforce and the Coding Committee where she was instrumental in coordinating the association's coding initiatives and educational campaigns. As she worked with doctors on a national level she saw a growing need for training in HIPAA compliance, especially as it relates to technology in a healthcare setting. She holds a certification as a HealthCare IT Specialist and is currently the owner/operator of Easy Tech Compliance.

Kathy (KMC) Weidner has been a tireless chiropractic advocate. It started almost four decades ago. That's the day she first set foot in a chiropractic practice. Decades later, her energy and vision are felt in every aspect of KMC University. In many ways her career path seemed certain from the start.
Lisa was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She is credited with both an Associates of Occupational Studies, for Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu; as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSU, Dominguez Hills. She has developed her role in every position, and utilizes her organization and time management to work towards improving work flow, and business management.

Marty was born in Chicago and has lived in California, Tokyo, and Arizona, but has settled down in Vancouver, WA for the past 9 years. Most recently he worked for the chiropractic software company, ChiroTouch. He brings years of chiropractic experience to KMC University and has worked for major companies such as Disney, PetSmart and The Gap. Marty was a practicing massage therapist for 5 years and is also a certified yoga instructor. When he's not hard at work, his world revolves around his husband of 19 years and their 2 Labradors, Doris and Ellie.

Mike has been designing and creating online materials for chiropractors since 2005, and brings over 14 years' experience in the chiropractic field to the KMC University team. Working mostly behind the scenes, he provides a creative boost to our marketing team and is also our top troubleshooter and technical go-to expert. He holds degrees in both photography and graphic design and has acquired a wealth of subsequent technical experience. Mike is always available to provide advanced support to both our staff and clients.

Michael was born and raised in sunny Phoenix, AZ. After graduating from Glendale High School in 1979, Michael went to work for Garrett Turbine Engine Company as an apprentice Turbine Engine Sub-Assembly Mechanic. He gained valuable experience over the next few years and worked his way up the corporate ladder. His experience includes Quality Assurance Inspector and QA Auditor with several aerospace companies in the Phoenix area, becoming Manufacturing Manager in 2001. Michael was directly responsible for 130 employees, initiating process improvement programs, and developing systemic solutions to complex problems while being held accountable for more than $5 million in annual revenue. During his tenure as manager, Michael went back to school and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He left the aerospace industry in the fall of 2009 after 25 years to pursue a new opportunity in Denver with Kathy Mills Chang. His role as Vice President of Operations has provided him with many opportunities to utilize his critical thinking and systemic analysis experience. In his free time, Michael enjoys long walks through the hills of Highlands Ranch as well as golfing with his sweetheart. Michael has two children, Jeremy and Rachel, who still live in the Phoenix area.

I began my chiropractic career 18 years ago. I have an Associates Degree in Office Management and a Certificate in Health Science. I am also a Licensed Clinical Chiropractic Assistant in the State of Maine. I am a member of the Bangor Chapter of the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the Helpdesk Specialist for KMC University. I began my Chiropractic Career as a billing clerk and worked my way up to Insurance Billing Manager. I also serve on the Maine Chiropractic Assistant Association Board as their consultant and help facilitate the licensing class for Clinical Chiropractic Assistants. The Chiropractic Profession brings me such joy and how it helps people as it certainly saved my life.
I live in Central Maine with my Golden Retriever Jordan. I have a grown son who I absolutely adore.

Rebecca L. Scott is a Certified Professional Coder and Certified Professional Compliance Officer who began her chiropractic career over 30 years ago. She has an Associate's Degree in Accounting and is a Licensed Clinical Chiropractic Assistant in the State of Maine. She's a member of the Lewiston Chapter of the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) and is a certified specialist working in curriculum development and individual client consultant for KMC University.
She began her Chiropractic Career as a file clerk and worked her way up to Team Leader. She specializes in Accounts Receivable and insurance billing. Chiropractic is her passion and she loves being a part of a profession that helps people have a better quality of life.
She lives in Western Maine with her husband and two Labrador Retrievers. She has a grown son that is her pride and joy.
