Attorney Brandon K. Leavitt

Brandon K. Leavitt has been a practicing attorney for more than 14 years. Brandon takes a holistic approach when practicing family law and understands that his client's legal issues can impact their lives for years. This approach helps Brandon get great results in and outside of the courtroom. Brandon has extensive experience in family law matters, including divorce, child support, child custody, alimony, asset division, and prenuptial agreements. Brandon is a 6th generation Southern Nevadan and has family ties to the initial settlers of the Las Vegas Valley. He was born in Henderson, Nevada, and graduated from Green Valley High School in 1998. Brandon continued to pursue his education at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Communications with an emphasis in argumentation and negotiation. Brandon then earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree from the prestigious Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Adhering to his lifelong work ethic, he was employed full-time as a law clerk for a Fortune 100 company while putting himself through law school. Mr. Leavitt began his legal career in Nevada by serving as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Charles J. Hoskin at the Eighth Judicial District Court - Family Division in Clark County. As a result of Brandon's time at the Family Court, he is uniquely qualified to counsel each client from the perspective of the Judges who will preside and ultimately make rulings on their cases.

Attorney Elizabeth A. Ellison

Elizabeth A. Ellison was born in Texas but spent her teenage years growing up in Alaska. She entered the legal field to help others navigate the court system during the most tumultuous and turbulent times in their lives. Her desire to help others led her to a career in family law. As the youngest in her family, Elizabeth honed her debate and oral argument skills long before entering a courtroom. She has a frank and honest approach to advising and advocating for her clients. These skills combined to help her earn the CALI Excellence Award in Criminal Law and an award for community service during her time at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Attorney Robert W. Clapp

Robert W. Clapp is an associate attorney with the Leavitt Family Law Group. Robert practices exclusively in family law, representing parties in matters related to complex high-asset divorce matters, child custody, child support, guardianship, and other related matters. Robert was born and raised in Las Vegas, graduating from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts in 2003. In 2010, Robert graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning a degree in Political Science with a minor in music technology (audio recording). After earning his undergraduate degree, Robert was hired as a receptionist at the Mullins Law Firm and was quickly promoted to litigation paralegal. Robert continued working as a litigation paralegal at an AV-rated family law firm in Clark County, Nevada, until he decided to attend law school in the fall of 2017. Robert graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2020. He was subsequently admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in the fall of 2020. During law school, Robert was recognized as the outstanding student of the semester by the Community Free Legal Education Service Program, in connection with the Legal Aid of Southern Nevada, for providing free legal education by teaching divorce education classes to the general public. Robert earned a CALI award (the highest grade in a particular class) in Legal Writing I. While in law school, Robert also clerked for the same AV-rated family law firm during the summers of 2018 and 2019. When Robert is not practicing law, he enjoys playing and recording music, watching movies with his family, and watching the Cubbies play baseball. Robert is also an avid cook who enjoys creating tasty dishes to share with family and friends.

Emma Forte

Emma was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Her family migrated to the United States when she was five years old, and she has lived in Las Vegas for 22 years. She entered the workforce holding jobs in Real Estate and the Hospitality Industry until she found a passion for the legal system and began working as a legal assistant for a firm practicing criminal, federal, and family law. Emma is fluent in English and Portuguese. She is married and has two sons. She is very active in her sons' upbringing and extracurricular activities. Emma enjoys traveling with her family in her downtime.

Kim Bryant is the firm administrator and paralegal at Leavitt Family Law Group. A Las Vegas native, Kim has enjoyed a diverse work history working for and alongside this unique city's residents. She has experience with various service industries, community assistance, and educational positions. After graduating from UNLV's Paralegal Certificate Program in 2020, she immediately began working as a litigation paralegal. She was soon offered a position as an instructor for the UNLV program.
