Christopher E. Frank received a Bachelors of Arts from Tulane University in 1999. He earned a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2002, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan, the State of Texas, and the Federal Courts. Christopher E. Frank is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, State Bar of Texas, Federal Bars for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and Northern and Middle Districts of Texas.

Tom is a shareholder of the Royal Oak, Michigan law firm Leduc Frank, which provides a wide range of legal services to credit unions and other financial institutions. Prior to starting his own firm, The Leduc Group, in May 2009, Tom spent more than nine years as a named partner at a Southfield, Michigan law firm, where he provided a diverse array of legal services to scores of financial institutions throughout the state. Prior to private law practice in 1998, he spent five years as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at the Michigan Credit Union League, where he was primarily responsible for explaining regulatory compliance to, and providing regulatory advocacy for, Michigan's then nearly 500 credit unions. Before his career as an attorney, he worked for ten years at several credit unions in the Metropolitan Detroit area, holding a full range of credit union positions, from front-line teller to assistant manager. He has also served as a Credit Union Director, and as a member of the Credit Committee, for a southeastern Michigan credit union. Tom earned his BA in Mathematics from Wayne State University in 1985, and his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1994. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and in the Federal Courts. He now specializes in financial institution regulatory compliance and litigation, and he has lectured and written on a wide range of topics including state and federal regulatory compliance, consumer protection, Bank Secrecy Act and bankruptcy law. Among his published works are the Compliance & Marketing Guide and the Consumer Lending Compliance Guidebook, both published by the Credit Union National Association.
