MARCHESI DI SAN GIULIANO

The Marchesi di San Giuliano estate is located in Sicily between Catania and Siracusa. It covers 250 hectares, 50 of which are citrus fruit groves. The first orange trees were planted in the 19th Century and are still cultivated using organic techniques... Our main crops are oranges, olives, avocados and mangoes, but we also grow lemons, red grapefruit, mandarins, ‘Nova' clementines and bitter oranges. The bitter oranges are mainly used to make marmalade.
