Brett DeLoach, Vice President, is responsible for Land and Commercial Property Sales and Landlord and Tenant Representation for Commercial Leases. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Georgia in Management. Brett has 7 years of experience in the forestry industry as a procurement forester and logging crew owner at Pierce Timber Company, Inc. He was a member of The University of Georgia Baseball Team from 2010-2013 and is currently a member of The University of Georgia Baseball Alumni Group and The Georgia Bulldog Club.
Dane Henderson, Commercial Sales, has lived and operated successful restaurants in Athens since 2013. Coming from the beaches of Destin Florida and with a background in the service industry, he brings an incomparable attention to detail and customer service to each client. In 2022, Dane joined the Marks Commercial Realty team. Dane and his wife Lucy have developed deep roots in the Athens community and plan to start a family in the near future. They enjoy spending time with friends and family as well as traveling and playing with their dogs.

Daniel Marks, CCIM began his real estate career in 2006 as development manager for a regional retail developer. In 2011, he founded this firm to focus on distressed asset dispositions and providing brokerage services to a national retailer expanding across the southeast. Daniel joined Nichols Land and Investment in 2014 after he and his wife, Melissa, moved to the Athens area to raise their 3 children. Daniel re-engaged his firm and stepped away from a successful 6-year tenure as associate broker and developer with Nichols Land in 2020. He leverages his 15+ years of commercial real estate experience across multiple disciplines and economic cycles to deliver services that exceed the expectations of clients.
Lilly Cook, Director of Marketing, attended the University of Georgia where she received a degree in Public Relations and minored in Fashion Merchandising. Growing up on a farm in Southwest Georgia, Lilly came to Athens for college, fell in love with the Classic City, and decided she would stay around here for a while. She is a proud aunt to two nephews and one niece, and she has a cat named Luna and a dog named Lulu. Lilly is the 2024 title holder of Miss Athens USA and will go on to compete at the Miss Georgia USA pageant in McDonough, GA this summer.

Sarah Elrod, Director of Property Management, attended the University of Mississippi. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. After graduation, she began working for a commercial real estate company based in Richmond, VA where her love of real estate began to develop. After 5 years away from home, she is back in Athens, doing what she loves! During her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and cheering on the bulldogs.
