Annie began her insurance career in the health and life space. In 2012 she joined Allied Specialty Insurance as the Marketing and Client Relations Coordinator. Over the years, she has coordinated all advertising, sponsorships, and conventions that the company supports. She attends trade shows, visits clients, and truly enjoys the relationships she has forged through the years with her industry family. She has a special passion for the industry because she was born into it and has lived it! She is excited to be a part of the future of McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance. She sits on several committees for the Showmen's League of America and is a member of the Outdoor Amusement Business Association and has served on committees there as well.

Depth, in a word, describes Drew Tewksbury. He is dedicated to understanding, educating and protecting his clients. His experience running festivals and fairs, working on and inspecting amusement rides and developing safety standards provides him with a fundamental understanding of this unique business. In addition to providing exceptional insurance products, Drew is also a nationally certified amusement ride safety officer and inspector. His unwavering commitment to building meaningful relationships with clients, colleagues and trading partners makes him different from other insurers. When something has gone wrong, clients know they can count on Drew to show up-even at two in the morning.

Glenn brought 18 years of expertise from three large prominent insurance firms when he joined Allied Specialty Insurance as a producer in 2014. His practice focuses on partnering with businesses, implementing risk management techniques, which helps them protect their company from the multiple inherent risks of owning and operating a business. As a result of his work, Glenn's clients are in a better position to manage their overhead costs while also enhancing their insurance coverage needs.
Glenn's 25 years of experience have been in large construction, industrial, amusement parks, and the fireworks industries. While at his previous firm, they were successful in securing the insurance program for one of the largest theme parks in the country while also managing the insurance programs for several professional football, hockey, basketball, and NASCAR racing teams.
Jake is focused on delivering predictability and ownership for his clients, especially when bringing a sense of order to the chaos. Before joining McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance, Jake served as a Green Beret in the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) with extensive overseas travel in the Middle East. As an Army officer, Jake commanded at multiple levels and dealt exclusively in risk mitigation and client management, achieving results using two key methods: build genuine relationships and invest deeply in your people. These are two unique qualities that he brings to the table when developing partnerships in our amazing industry!
Jeff joins McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance bringing a 23-year career focused on a fierce advocacy for his clients and protecting their financial interests. His dedication to his clients and unwavering 24/7 service has enabled him to cultivate long-standing relationships as a trusted product authority to nimbly source client needs. He leverages a consultative approach to skillfully align product offerings to customer needs to create short- and long-term success for his customers. Joe brings 35 years of sales experience to McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance, with his last 23 in specialty sales for the Amusement Industry, offering risk analysis to prospects and clients with regard to their specific needs. He worked directly with them to provide honest and comprehensive annual assessments and reviews. Clients included, but were not limited to, Amusement and Waterparks, Family Entertainment Centers, mobile Carnival Operations, and related food and game vendors. He has spoken and/or served on various organizations within the industry.

John joined McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance in April of 2022. John's primary focus is the leadership of client teams in the retention of existing business, placement of new business, and the tactical and strategic delivery of key client services. John also serves as the key relationship contact for insurance carrier partners, who are integral to servicing the book of business. His expertise in creating solutions for customers is extensive, having worked in the commercial insurance industry for over 37 years.
John‘s commercial insurance experience includes 24 years with Liberty Mutual Group, two years with Arthur J. Gallagher Company, three years with Britton Gallagher, six years with Oswald Companies, and two years with AssuredPartners. Of his 24 years with Liberty Mutual, 18 were spent in the Commercial Claims Department, where he held multiple positions. Some of those positions include Director of Hiring and Training, Regional Operations Manager, and Claims Manager.
In the Claims Manager position, John's office managed liability claims for 14 states. His commercial insurance sales/broker experience totals 19 years from a carrier and agency perspective.

Kym brings over 30 years of insurance experience to the table. She joined AXA XL in 2013 as the Director of Strategic Operations for the Environmental Team. She later added the Global Risk Management Team and E&S Casualty teams to her areas of responsibility. Prior to joining AXA XL, she was a Regional Operations Director at Arch Insurance where had broad strategic responsibility for a diverse set of teams in the North East and South East regions. In 2018 AXA XL appointed Kym as Interim President of Allied Specialty Insurance. She fell in love with the amusement industry and its people immediately and knew that she wanted to direct her focus solely to the amusement industry. Kym was one of the key players in forming a new Joint Venture with McGowan Insurance, bringing the best of two companies under one roof to better serve the needs of our clients. She is the President of T.H.E. Insurance Company.

Lee Stacey's story is one of determination and achievement. After serving with the US Army 1st Ranger Battalion, he left the service after a parachuting injury and continued his education as a disabled veteran. Not to be deterred by financial obstacles, he earned enough to cover college expenses by running a shift in a dimensional lumber mill. He went on to earn his MBA and has advanced his executive education at the University of Pennsylvania.

Lisa started her insurance career at Allied Specialty Insurance in2013. During this time, she has worked in many facets of the company, including but not limited to, sales, compliance coordinator, production coordinator, and client relations. She was eventually promoted to a sales producer and now holds that role along with marketing and client relations. She was born into a carnival family and has been in and around the amusement industry her whole life. She has a deep understanding of the individual needs of the client because she has lived it! She currently sits on the Board of the Showmen's League of America, where she also has been appointed to various committees. Lisa is excited to be a part of the new McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance team.

Stephanie began her insurance career during her junior year of high school. After graduation, she decided to stay in the insurance industry to obtain knowledge and experience in all lines of coverage and risk management. Stephanie joined Allied Specialty Insurance in 2014; she is driven to provide superior customer service led by her ever-growing fascination of the amusement and entertainment industry. Stephanie is now part of the new McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance team and continues to give her all in support of our clients.

Steve has over thirty years' experience in the insurance industry working for both carriers and agencies. His responsibilities have included sales, management, risk management, compliance and underwriting. In 2008 he joined the Allied International Holdings (AIH) Family of companies which was exclusive to the amusement industry, this included T.H.E. Insurance Company and Allied Specialty Insurance-the agency. He worked his way up and in 2013 was named President of T.H.E. In 2016 AIH was acquired by XL Catlin and subsequently AXA XL. In January 2020 AXA XL entered a Joint Venture with the McGowan Companies to create McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance where Steve is the Director of Underwriting for T.H.E.

Sue has been in the insurance industry since 1975. In 1991 she joined Allied Specialty Insurance. Since then, she has been working with her clients providing coverages for their amusement and entertainment needs. She has attended the IISA in Gibsonton for over 25 years. Her years of experience give her undeniable expertise in identifying and servicing the unique needs of her clients. She is proud to continue the Allied vision as she is now part of the new McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance Group.

Tom has over 40 years of experience in the amusement industry, including time spent at amusement parks, fairs/carnivals, and third-party inspections. His career has spanned from Funtime, Inc., Six Flags to Cedar Fair before becoming a third-party inspector for the last 14 years. He joined MASI in late 2021.
Currently, Tom is on the Education and Certification Committees for National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO) and has served as the Treasurer. He holds a NAARSO Level 3 Senior Inspector Certification and had been a pivotal member of not only NAARSO as an instructor at their yearly safety seminar but also instructs at outreach schools. He has provided safety training to parks and carnivals insuring that safety, maintenance and operational standards are met.
