Nathan began his tech journey in 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic upended his management position in the service industry. Beginning with the Computer Programming Career Certificate at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska, he took classes learning Python, Java, HTML/CSS, data structures and algorithms, and relational databases. After becoming interested in working with data, Nathan began learning various data analysis/engineering tools, eventually working through the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate. He completed the certificate in September 2023.
