Latra is a hard-to-find native Austinite. She grew up in West Austin and graduated with high honors from St. Edward's University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She then pursued her law degree at St. Mary's School of Law and was sworn into her law career in a private ceremony held by Judge Lee Yeakel, District Court Judge of the Western District of Texas, in 2006. She has worked in the real estate industry in Austin for the last 20 years. She and her husband, Michael Clawson, enjoy traveling and adding to their passport stamp collection as much as their busy schedule will allow.
