Jaki Nelson is our songwriting instructor and teaches piano. Two-time Top 10, four-time Billboard pop/dance artist Jaki Nelson is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Los Angeles.Her debut single, "What We Wanna Do" spent six weeks on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart and peaked at #29. Her follow-up single, "Uh Oh", spent 12 weeks on the same chart and peaked at #9. "Uh Oh" also debuted at #12 on Beatport Future House, speaking at #4, and was featured as a Spotify Discovery Weekly track. Jaki has performed at NY Fashion Week (2016/2017), LA Fashion Week (2017) and prestigious clubs including the legendary Avalon Hollywood in 2018 & 2019 (Previous performers include Lady Gaga) as well as LA Pride Weekend (2018) and a headlining spot on the main stage with powerhouse DJ Hector Fonseca (Beyonce, Rihanna) at San Francisco Pride (2018). In 2018, Jaki released "Dancing With Strangers", written and produced with GRAMMY winner Dave Aude who has created over 120 #1 Billboard dance remixes (Madonna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rihanna). "Dancing With Strangers" debuted on the front page of Billboard.com, peaked at #10 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart, and was the only single by an independent artist in the top ten for that week. Jaki shares the honor with greats including U2, Ariana Grande, Cher, Lenny Kravitz, Kygo, and Calvin Harris featuring Sam Smith. The track also beat Steve Aoki and Vanessa Hudgens on the breakouts for the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Chart. In 2019, she debuted her track "The End" by The Disco Fries (RCA, Atlantic) featuring Jaki Nelson, written by Jaki and Chris Ganoudis (R3HAB) on Austin Kramer's Friday Cratediggers playlist. She also started producing for Joey Suarez, an up and coming touring artist and Instagram influencer. In October, they debuted their upcoming collaboration "Changing History" at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Lois Blaisch

Lois Blaisch teaches songwriting and guitar. She is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, performer and producer best known for writing the multi-platinum #1 Pop & AC hit "Could've Been" by Tiffany. This song was later chosen by Carrie Underwood as her US debut on American Idol. Lois' songs have been nominated for three Grammy awards in the catagories; Pop, Jazz & Children's music and "The Golden Reel Award" for the writing and singing on the theme to "Street Sharks" (a Disney animated TV series). Lois had a top 10 hit with jazz artist Earnestine Anderson (Quincy Jones' Quest records) and she's a member of BMI's "Million Airs" Club. Lois' vocals and/or songs are featured on; Friends, Splash, Touched by an Angel, Thick of the Night, Top of The Pops, Sailor Moon, Neil Young's "Living w/War and "Oasis 4" Lois songs also appear on gold and platinum albums in Japan, the Philippines, Taiwon and South Africa. She has produced and released two of her own CD's ,"Through Thick & Thin" and "Valentine" worldwide and is currently finishing her latest CD "Rollercoaster".
