Cathy Ru is the Chief Executive Officer of Rockbase Capital. She is registered with the Ontario Security Commission as Ultimate Designated Person, as well as Dealer Representative. Cathy came to Canada in 1991. Her specialty was in Financial Accounting. In 2002, she graduated with an MBA degree from Queen's University.
Following her time at Queen's, Cathy began her career in an Ottawa-based real estate management company. This experience helped her develop professional skills and widened her connection with the local real estate community, which proved to be valuable in her current role when sourcing and promoting various real estate projects.
Cathy is also a licensed consultant specializing in immigration for over 20 years. Her experience in the complex investment immigration program and extensive due diligence in investment projects prepared her for a smooth transition into her current role in the private market since 2009.

Douglas Lash is a solicitor, and barrister that provides ongoing legal counsel services for the company. He is an expert in business law and securities law issues, regulatory compliance, financing issues, investor communications, and other regulated matters.
Janet Yang - Chief Compliance Officer
Janet Yang has been the Chief Compliance Officer of Rockbase Capital since 2016. Janet had previously worked as an auditor with KPMG for over 10 years, taking the lead in project auditing for many Fortune 500 companies.
Janet and her team under KPMG provided public listing and auditing services for Sinopec, China Telecom, and Sino Mach, crossing a variety of industries including border project contractors, mining, petrochemical, renewables, telecommunication operations, insurance, manufacturing, etc. She also worked as Executive Director of BEIJING PLATEAU Asset Management company, in Financial Analysis & post-investment management.
Janet holds a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Economics from the Renmin University of China. Janet is registered as Certified Public Accountant in both Canada and China.
