SECOND CHANCE EDUCATION (SCE)

Second Chance Education (SCE) is educational and employment supportive non-profit organization with 501(C)(3) certifications from IRS. SCE is ONE out of SEVEN institutions in California that are federally funded by the United States Department of Education in 2022 for Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) TR iO (Learn more). The CA Department of Education also funds the SCE for WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act). Our WIOA is under programming and will start sometime soon. The SCE also is approved vendor by the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). If you are client that referred to SCE from the DOR, please visit this page. We are dedicated to preparing individuals including those who have disabilities (training assistive technology), veterans, refugees, etc. for workplaces and helping them in finding suitable and stable jobs.
