Dr. Hayato Kurihara

Graduated at State University of Milan, Italy, Dr. Hayato Kurihara is the Head of the Emergency Surgery and Trauma Unit at Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan and he is Adjunct Professor at Humanitas University. His main focus regards Acute Care Surgery and Trauma with specific interest in critical and frail patients. He is actively involved in Advanced Medical Simulation and has been focusing on not-technical skills, team working and leadership in surgical environment were communication skills and decision making capacity are essential for the best clinical outcome in stressful scenarios. He is in the President Elect of the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery and Vice President of the Italian Society for Emergency Surgery and Trauma he is also Secretary Treasurer of the International Association for Trauma Surgery and Intensive Care. He is Honorary Fellow of the European Board of Surgery (Emergency Surgery) for UEMS and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. James is a solution-oriented facilitator and consultant with strengths in communication, strategy, project management, human resource management, talent development and multicultural team management. He has rich experience in HR/Strategy Consulting and international practices in the US, UK, Middle East, Asia and Greater China. Presently James is running training programs throughout China for multinationals who have designed their programs overseas and who rely on James to both remain true to the program design as well as make it as meaningful and relevant in the Chinese context as possible. His recent clients are Chanel, Adidas, Hugo Boss, Puma, Coca Cola, Volkswagen, Cardinal Health, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Silicon Valley Bank, VMware, Fuchs, and Energy Foundation China. Before earning his MBA from Boston, US, James worked in management consulting and training fields in Greater China region. He developed and delivered human resource development/management programs to multinational companies such as IBM, FedEx, DHL, Logitech, McDonald's, Kraft, Johnson & Johnson, Yum Group, and SGS. He graduated with Master in Business Administration from Hult International Business School, which is ranked No.3 in International Business by the Financial Times. He joined the school in 2006 and served Project Director, Head of Recruiting, Assistant Dean. He was the managing director of Hult Shanghai Campus and responsible for Hult's MBA and Master programs in China before he becomes an independent consultant and entrepreneur. He is Native in Mandarin and fluent in English, Cantonese. He also speaks Chinese Dialects; Taiwanese, Shanghainese, and Hakka.

Sue is an Accredited Master Executive Coach, Coach Trainer, Facilitator and Principal of Whitespace Coaching. She specialises in supporting individuals with compassionate and challenging coaching to promote their health, well-being, mental capital and self-leadership through personal empowerment and enablement. She coaches at all levels in organisations to develop mindful leaders, in vocational rehabilitation and mental health and coaching to maintain balance in transitions. She brings her postgraduate training in Mindfulness Based One to One into her life and work. She collaborates on research and is a published author. She provides one to one and group coaching, Accredited Salutogenic Coaching training and Coaching workshops. She coaches individuals with chronic and life shortening health conditions and has specialised in Pain Management. She has a background in Biological Sciences and Microbiology and had a previous career as a Landscape Architect and Degree Programme Director, teaching and researching landscape, well-being and older people through participatory workshops at Newcastle and Northumbria Universities.
