James Smith

James is a talented, young designer who is passionate about plants and creating green spaces for everyone to enjoy. Having achieved a silver medal in 2021 for the young designer category at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park and is also a winner of Pro Landscaper 30 under 30: The Next Generation. James studied horticulture at Moulton College before going on to study landscape and garden design graduating from Writtle University College in 2017. He brings a wealth of experience to the team and will be focusing on working on large scale commercial designs and private residential gardens as well as helping to grow the business.

Jordan Ling

Job Titles:
  • Landscape Designer
Originally from an Art and Design background, Jordan went on to study Horticulture at Kingston Maurward College and later completed a degree in Landscape Architecture at Kingston University London. Since then Jordan has been working on a range of Commercial and Residential projects around Dorset and Hampshire over the past 7 years. Jordan likes strategic design and problem solving within gardens to maximise usable space and to enhance the surrounding visual amenity. He believes historical context is an important part of design, be it through materials, planting or visual connection.

Luke Mills

Luke has over 15 years of experience in design, construction, planting and landscape planning. Originally training as a landscaper, Luke then graduated from The Oxford College of Garden Design in Residential Landscape Architecture before establishing The Landscape Service in 2017. Luke enjoys working directly with clients and ensuring their vision is delivered with a personal creative experience and a high attention to detail, with expertise in driving a project forward from the design stage to build with a calm project management approach. Luke is a previous winner of Pro Landscapers 30 under 30: The Next Generation
