Ilvia Suares-Gustina

Ilvia was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Curacao. She has a degree in Horeca Entrepreneur Management. Ilvia has worked at several industries as a travel agent, as a manager's assistant in telecommunications, sales and functioned as a store manager at a wine importer. Ilvia is a Recruitment Specialist at Tempo Curacao for three years now and has some large client contracts in her portfolio. Ilvia brings a lot of energy into our office, offering new perspectives and out of the box thinking. These qualities have been valuable to our working environment, and she brings that same energy when interacting with clients and candidates. Ilvia is driven by the satisfaction that comes from problem solving for her clients. The same passion and excitement that Ilvia brings to her work, she likes to see in her candidates as well. Kirby Brouwer-Sannen - Managing Director

Kirby was born and raised in Curacao and moved back home right after obtaining her master's degree in accounting & finance from Erasmus University. Once an island girl, always an island girl, is what they say right? Kirby starting her career at one of the big four accounting firms in the Business Consulting department being mainly responsible for internal audit, process (re)design and everything risk management related. Kirby was among the first to join this newly developed department and worked closely together with the Partner during the first couple of years serving all engagements. After 12 years it was time for a career switch and Kirby entered the dynamic world of recruitment embarking on a new adventure at Tempo Curacao in June of 2021. With her organization skills, a passion for match making and her ability to oversee all situation, Kirby fits perfectly well as the Managing Director of Tempo Curacao and Tempo Sint Maarten. The daily process of getting to know the clients and working closely to find their right match is fascinating and is what keeps Kirby going every day. It may sound simple, but it takes much more than an interview to find the best possible career matches from both the candidate and client perspective. And this is exactly where she gets her energy from - She is focused on exceeding expectations. Together with her team, Kirby constantly strives to be innovative to ensure superior customer experience to all candidates and clients. Outside of work, Kirby loves to travel, be among family and friends, scheduling coffee dates and have dance parties at home with her husband and kids.

Kristel Tecla-van

Kristel was born and raised in Curacao. At 19 she moved to the Netherlands to study Information Technology but soon realized that she wanted to do something different. After 1 year she started her studies in Small Business & Retail Management at the Haagse Hogeschool and got her Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2009. After working a few months as a Finance Assistant at the headquarter of a Fashion Company she decided to further her career in Curacao and moved back in 2010. Since then, she gained a lot of experience and knowledge in the payroll and finance field. As per February 2021 she started working as a Financial Consultant at Tempo Curacao where she is responsible for the final approval of the payroll and for the administration of Tempo Curacao and Tempo SXM. Besides her job as a Financial Consultant, Kristel enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, travelling, and watching reality TV.

Mary-Ann Reiter

Mary-Ann Reiter was born and raised on the island of Curacao. In 2019 she graduated from the study of "Business Administration" specializing in "Human Resources Management & Communication" at the University of Curacao. Mary-Ann has held the position of Coordinator within the hospitality industry and currently works as a Recruitment Consultant at Tempo Curacao. Every day is a new challenge for her as no day is the same on the work field. This is mainly because as a Recruitment Consultant she has to deal with different people with different characters. Since January 2022, Talisa has been promoted to Senior Recruitment Specialist being mainly responsible for all documentation and internal processes. So, when it comes to searching for top (young) professionals for Tempo's clients, Talisa makes a trip around the sun to find suitable candidates. She focusses not only on face to face recruiting but also on the online recruiting, via LinkedIn, with both local and international candidates. Talisa has a golden rule when it comes to matching the right candidates with the right employers; she applies the soft skill technique. "Most companies nowadays tend to focus on the hard skills of a job, instead of focusing on the soft skills of a candidate. When your workforce has lots of technical skills but has an absence of soft skills, your company results in a gap. For example, when you have several Managers but no real leaders, that's a soft skills gap," according to Talisa. Outside of work Talisa loves gardening, creating art, working her way through every recipe in cookbooks, traveling the world, drinking coffee and spending time with family.
