Chris Winfree

Chris is an Owner Member and the Engineering Manager of TEAM Mechanical, LLC. Chris's responsibilities include maintaining communications with clients, management of design / build new construction and owner direct project sales, assisting with the custom design and sales of the TEAM Program maintenance agreements, business development, and company management. Chris is always available to help clients utilize the full range of TEAM Mechanical, LLC's resources to make their facilities operate more efficiently and more reliably. Chris is available anytime by phone or email. Chris is a 1995 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While at UNCC Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering while working to pay for school and playing Rugby. Chris started his mechanical contracting career as a management trainee for a leading commercial mechanical contractor. Chris' initial role was as a crew leader and installer. In a short period of time Chris was promoted to technical support manager. Chris's primary responsibility was to be a liason between the Client and the company's technicians. It was Chris' role to communicate the Client in order to understand their needs and then to utilize the company's resources to solve them. Chris was also responsible for helping technicians with difficult systems problems. During his career Chris developed a custom maintenance sales program and eventually managed other sales professionals. This sales program emphasized communicating with potential Clients in order to fully understand their needs. During his time with the company Chris also managed the building automation division. Prior to forming TEAM Mechanical, LLC, Chris' final role was to develop, design, and deliver custom turn key system improvement solutions directly to building owners and facility managers. This involved acting as the mechanical contractor and often as a general contractor and electrical contractor. In each of these roles Chris' primary focus was on constant communication with the Client to make sure that their expectations were being met. Chris is a licensed engineering in North and South Carolina. Chris is also the General Contractor exam qualifier for TEAM Mechanical, LLC. Chris is active with the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Chris is a past Southern Piedmont Chapter President. Chris has chaired all of the other committees and won numerous ASHRAE Society and Regional technical and leadership awards. Chris has also served as past Vice-President and Membership Committee chairman for the Association of Facility Engineers (AFE). Chris is a Greensboro native and a current Charlotte resident. Chris has lived in Charlotte eighteen (18) years and currently resides with his wife Kim, daughter Lindsey, and son Adams.

Jason Johnson

Jason is the Production Manager for TEAM Mechanical, LLC. Jason's responsibilities include project management, material ordering, and estimating. Jason's primary focus is on maintaining a high level of workmanship and productivity for all of TEAM Mechanical's projects, ranging from new installations to replacement retrofits. Jason is a graduate of Randleman High School in Randleman, NC. Jason's first job was working for a local furniture manufacturer. Shortly thereafter in 2000, Jason began his career in the commercial heating and air conditioning industry. He started as an installer and quickly worked his way to a crew leader. After recognizing his leadership ability, Jason was promoted to a Project Manager. Jason's experience is invaluable on jobs as small as simple rooftop replacements, to jobs as advanced as multi-million dollar mechanical jobs that included chilled and hot water sytems, building automation systems, and process piping. Jason is also responsible for maintaining TEAM's safety equipment. He insures each technician and apprentice has all required PPE, and assorted safety gear required by TEAM Mechanical LLC. Jason has completed the 10 Hour OSHA Construction Program, and various courses involving Hydronic Design and Refrigeration Principles and Practices. Jason is originally from Randleman, NC. He currently resides in Mount Holly, NC with his wife Christie, and children, Kaylie, 23 (daughter) and David, 19 (son). Jason enjoys off-roading, lifting weights, and spending time with friends and family in his free time.

Karen Davey

Karen handles all the accounting and bookkeeping for TEAM Mechanical, LLC. Karen's responsibilities include accounts payables, accounts receivables, billing, and collections. Karen also handles TEAM's fleet management program for all employees. Karen is a graduate of State University of New York (SUNY Binghamton) where she studied mathematics and accounting. Shortly after graduation, Karen took a position as an Office Manager with a major textile manufacturing firm in Poughkeepsie, NY. After many years Karen accepted an Office Manager position at Vassar Brothers Medical Center also in Poughkeepsie, NY. In 2006, Karen relocated to the Carolinas, eventually settling in York, SC. Upon arriving to the Charlotte area, Karen was the Office Manager for a medical staffing company. In, 2011, Karen became the Office Manager here at TEAM Mechanical LLC. TEAM has been able to utilize Karen's years of expertise in accounting programs, such as Quickbooks, and her experience in overall Office Management tasks. She is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly, and insures our complete invoicing process is efficient and accurate. Karen makes it a priority to help our customers when needed, and she goes the extra mile to extend a friendly hand to all who need her. Karen is originally from Beacon, NY. She currently resides in York, SC with her husband Michael, and two dogs, Buddy, and Chloe. Karen is an avid animal lover, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family in her free time.

Kim Winfree

Kim is an Owner Member and the Controller for TEAM Mechanical, LLC. Kim's responsibilities include financial management of the company. Kim is responsible for administrative and financial decisions. Kim is experienced and knowledgeable about every aspect of the mechanical contracting and TEAM Mechanical, LLC's resources. Kim is available anytime by phone or email. Kim is a 1991 graduate of Appalachian State University. While at Appalachian she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Kim started her mechanical contracting career as a management trainee for a leading commercial mechanical contractor. Kim's initial role was as a system designer and estimator. Kim designed mechanical systems and managed installation for some the largest industrial facilities in North and South Carolina. After a sustained period of success in the construction area Kim became the service manager for the company. Kim was responsible for developing the newly formed service department and making it a successful part of the company. Kim excelled in this role by being able to communicate with the Clients and service technicians in order to understand what resources to apply to a problem. Prior to leaving the company and forming TEAM Mechanical, LLC, Kim was the company Controller. Kim is a licensed Mechanical Contractor in North Carolina. Kim is a Charlotte native and current Charlotte resident. Kim currently resides with her husband Chris, daughter Lindsey, and son Adams.

Ryan Blythe

Ryan is the Service Sales Consultant for TEAM Mechanical, LLC. Ryan is responsible for overall business development in the commercial and industrial business sectors. Ryan's primary focus is developing customized maintenance programs tailored to specific building and industry types. Ryan also seeks out potential projects and relays them to our engineering/projects department. Ryan is a graduate of Derita Academy in Charlotte, NC. Ryan's first job was in the glass industry constructing and installing multiple types of glass window fixtures. Ryan traveled the country performing various glass installations and eventually worked his way up to project manager. From there, Ryan started a career in the Financial Services industry. During his tenure, Ryan accumulated many financial certifications and awards. Ryan's ability to understand financial and organizational goals coupled with his construction background, made him a perfect fit for TEAM Mechanical LLC. Ryan's focus is on lowering energy expenditures for commercial and industrial facilities in the Charlotte area. Ryan evaluates mechanical systems, in combination with a particular building's operations, to develop the most precise maintenance programs in the Carolinas. Part of the evaluation process involves studying current energy and maintenance expenditures, to insure a substantial cost savings for the actual operating budget of the facility. Ryan can then employ TEAM's proprietary maintenance techniques to implement the estimated savings that were calculated. Ryan is originally from Charlotte, NC. He currently resides in Mooresville, NC with his wife Jessica, and children, Chloe, 3 (daughter) and Liam, 5 months (son). Ryan enjoys fishing, visiting the Outer Banks, and spending time with friends and family in his free time.
