Originally built in the early 1800's now runs from Gravesend to Higham in North West Kent and has an interesting military, social and engineering history... The Towpath is part of a circular walk that feeds into the Saxon Shore Way, is part of Sustrans no.1 Cycle track and borders land occupied by the RSPB.
